Really pretty and nice place with an amazing beach view! The restaurants next to the hotel are really nice too, which hold free live band shows sometimes!

Good place for a short stay in Mossel Bay. Recommended for solo travelers.

Have been to this restaurant many times over the years & always found the food & hospitality excellent. This year it was completely different. The choice of menu was average so was the food in fact inedible vegetables over cooked. Replacing with a pizza. Oh what has happened in 7 years!!!

I booked because of the novelty of the train and as a shoestring traveller the single compartments are quite reasonably priced if you are looking for a private space but fine with shared bathrooms. Very clean, tons of staff on site all day. Train is quite old and therefore quite tired. Compartnents rock back and forth as people walk down the aisle to their rooms and like a train you can hear through to your neighbours (phone notifications buzzing etc). Included breakfast and coffee was not to my taste but saves you from walking the 15 minutes into town. No wifi in the rooms.

Quite basic accommodation, more like a hostel than a hotel, but I thought it was fun, and enjoyed looking out over the sea from my bed. Worth paying for the upper class cabin with wood panelling and en suite. A good place to stay if you need a bed in Mossel Bay.
