Moulton Inns and Suites was clean, convenient and staffed by great people. A wonderful small town hotel.

Had a reservation for Friday April 28th for the King size bed with the full kitchen. My girlfriend and I were ready for a big weekend in the area. Had found a lot of interesting things to do. My girlfriend gets there first and without saying a word the front desk hands her the key and she proceeds to the room. But, instead of a King bed she is met with two twin beds. She calls the front desk and is told that someone was in our room because they had extended their stay and that the two twin beds were all they had available. She called me to tell me about the room situation and the fact that the room was filthy. Trash and dirt under the tables, dust and grim on the vent-a-hood. After calling the front and having to explain to them the simple rule of hotels - the customer can extend a stay but, since that room has already been reserved, the customer will have to move to another room. She refused to clear the room because and I quote "he was there first". I have traveled a lot and have never run into this ******* logic before. I had to pull over while driving and find another hotel at the last minute. And I would have paid twice as much not to stay at the Moulton Inn and Suites. Save yourself the aggravation and possible illness you may catch in this filthy, bed bug ridden hotel and please stay anywhere else.

Our room was clean and nicely appointed. We arrived late but Crystal (the desk attendant) was very pleasant and made sure that we were settled into our room. The only concern that we had was the firmness of the mattresses. Both were very uncomfortable, but that could be nothing more than preference.

No Snack Vending Machines, soda machine was not taking dollars, no breakfast.

Absolutely horrible! So dirty that I had to go across the street and by sanitizing spray and big killer. I even had a spider crawl on my bed when I was going to sleep. I slept with the lights on. Stains, ******** and beer cap as well as dead bugs on the floor/carpet. I didn’t see bed bugs but hoping and praying I didn’t bring any back! I sat nothing on the floor!

Clean room ... had the a/c running when we opened the door ... a first for us ...

Great location for where I needed to be . Crystal at the front desk was very nice & friendly ~

Room was clean and cooled off when we arrived.
