the most relaxing and peaceful hotel i’ve ever visited, ten minute drive from most places in mnt tambourine. Lovely and secluded rooms, really enjoyed my stay

Such an amazing place to stay. Very luxurious, relaxing and most of all, quite (except for the air conditioner which at least can be turned off) Would definitely recommend for a special occasion, or "just because" We dined at the restaurant and was extremely happy with the beautiful food. Cannot think of how you could improve this experience, perhaps only by staying longer.

We spoilt ourselves for out wedding anniversary with the weekday romance package. Most of communication before arrival was through email outside business hours, there was always timely responses that were very helpful. On arrival staff were friendly and helpful and went above and beyond. We were impressed by the continental breakfast which also contained a hot component (the muesli was especially yummy too!). But what was most impressive was the lovely 3 course meal at the restaurant, great service, reasonable price and delicious food - was a great way to celebrate!

We had a beautiful private villa which was fully equipped, very comfortable and clean. The retreat offers a complimentary continental breakfast which is very disappointing. Very limited choice with no cereals, fresh sliced fruit, barista coffee, etc. We ordered a ham and cheese omelette which was premade and just heated up which was tasteless, rubbery and quite unpalatable. For a 5 star retreat we thought it was a bit of a joke. Apart from the breakfast everything else was fantastic!

5 night's stay..The room was amazing,only let down was the option of being able to close a curtain or blinds. It is nice to awake to the forest but very bright as it has not curtain or blinds ,staff are awesome, breakfast was served every morning.

The location is beautiful and the staff are friendly The accomodation is old and tired - cream coloured 90s vibe with a dank and musty smell The breakfast was a joke I had an email from Pethers confirming a breakfast box would be delivered to the room - on arrival we're told breakfast is available for only 1hr! in the reception. It was really a pathetic excuse for a breakfast - one cold Woolworths bagel per person which you must microwave yourself When I flagged my disappointment with the owner Paul his reply was passive aggressive, unhelpful and he was to cowardly to call me like I asked. This was an overall wonderful experience. The staff was marvelous. The room was fantastic. The amenities were outstanding. The entire experience was the best. It was very romantic and we had a weekend we won't forget. Would recommend this place to any couples looking for a great place to get away.
