Travelling with my friend who uses a walker and requires a shower chair we found the BnB very comfortable. We stayed in the Rosella room as it had ramp access and a window with a great view of the Gold Coast. I think only the two end rooms have windows facing East. The rooms and guest area are older style but have a very comfortable clean feeling with no mustiness. The room had everything we needed for two nights, a kettle with assorted hot drink selection and a small fridge with milk and cold water. Very decent size ensuite with a great hot shower and lovely toiletries. The queen bed mattress was firm but very comfortable. The pillows were good too. The room was very well insulated but be prepared because the AC is loud. We didn't need it on very much. There is also a small but comfortable sitting area just outside the entry with a good view. Being a BnB breakfast was included. There was a choice of continental or full cooked breakfast. We tried both, a different one each morning and chose the 8:30am sitting. The size of both breakfasts was ample and the fully cooked one was hot as Simon cooks it just as you arrive. I really enjoyed the yoghurt, fruit and muesli parfait with my continental breakfast. We had hot tea with breakfast so I can't say what the coffee is like. Sitting on the deck eating and enjoying the Birdlife was the highlight of our stay. Jacqui came over each day to see how things were going and to have a chat but didn't smother us. They were great hosts. The only negative to the deck is the bird poop on the chairs but the cushions are all clean because Simon keeps them inside and we just pulled them out when needed. As the weekends either side of our stay were fully booked we stayed during the week and had the place to ourselves. Overall it was an excellent stay and I happily recommend it to everyone.
