Close to town, nice place, spacious rooms, clean, friendly staff and good food, if you love nature, and a classic feel, this place is for you.

Wendy’s Country Lodge is absolutely beautiful. The harden is stunning, pool is pristine, and the service is exceptional. We made a last minute booking and spend a couple days there, it truly felt like home when it was time to check-out. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a relaxing and memorable getaway.

I was required to travel up to Mtubabtuba for work. My work stay at Wendy's Lodge turned what was a routine mundane business trip into a what honestly felt like a break away. only having to focus on work during office hours and relaxation after hours.

In secure area with friendly helpful staff. Separate rooms with breakfast and dinner of good quality and homely feeling. Swimming pool refreshing. About 40 minutes from Umphulozi Game Park gate. We took the safari drive once (excellent guide) and drove ourselves once. The owners went out of their way to borrow their new gas stove for us to enable us to make coffee in the game park ourselves which was greatly appreciated and packed breakfast for us. Very good experience.

My evening at Wendy's Country Lodge was truly exceptional. From the moment I walked in, the staff's warmth and hospitality made me feel like an honored guest. The service was impeccable, with a genuine attentiveness that added a personal touch to the experience.From start to finish, Wendy's Country Lodge surpassed my expectations, leaving me with fond memories of exceptional service and a beautiful environment.

we stayed there for for 2 nights. The summary: extremely friendly and caring staff, comfy beds and a clean room, safe and quiet surroundings. Our trip to the iMfolozi-park with Kyle was amazing. All in all: worth to stay there. And thanks so much to all!

My wife, my 2-year-old son, and I stayed two nights here in September of 2023. We absolutely loved it. It was cozy, comfortable, and clean. The dinner was delicious and the staff were helpful and friendly. It's also a very convenient location if you want to spend time in both St. Lucia and in Hluhluwe-Umfulozi, as it's conveniently located about 30 minutes from both locations. We will likely stay here again.

We stayed for four nights at Wendy's country lodge. We had a wonderful time there : warm welcome, nice bar, excellent and healthy dinner shared with owners and guests. The garden around the different rooms is beautiful. The lodge is closed to the city centre but in a secured and quiet estate. Saint Lucia is 40 minutes drive. I recommend.

Wendy's country lodge is a special place where we felt like in family . Jenny and Gavin are full of attentions for their guests, from the breakfast to the evening coktails at their bar and exquisite dinners they share with us all. The rooms are very comfortable and finely decorated, and the tropical garden is a beautiful area. We spent two days of safari guided by Gavin who is as knowledgeable about wildlife as passionate to share it with his guests. So do not hesitate to profit by this unique opportunity to discover the region with him. We highly recommend Wendy's country lodge ! Thanks very much Jenny and Gavin, we will be back !
