It was an inconvenience from the minute we arrived. The owners were so pedantic about parking spaces, the air conditioning in our room wasn’t working, and the service lady didn’t know how to fix it. We were given a small fan that was then taken away a few minutes later to accommodate another guest. We had to share a bathroom with other guests which caused an inconvenience in the morning getting ready to leave to our next destination. The windows to our bedroom weren’t able to open so we had to sleep with the balcony door open to get air. The morning traffic caused such a noise and an overall unpleasant stay at the Muize. I wouldn’t recommend. The owners should put guest needs above their own.

Just one night spontaneous but very nice. After changing our flight we were in need of a one night stay. Was easy and nice to stay at the Muize. Highly recommended! The bedroom was nice, the breakfast got all you need and the bathroom is big and no problem to share with just another room.

I travel to Muizenberg 2 to 3 times a year for business and to catch up with friends. Siya does the booking and is always professional and welcoming. The wi-fi is good and allows me to respond to work issues. There is a beautiful view across the Vlei from the upstairs rooms which are beautifully kept and the breakfast is great, with lots of variety.

Excellent level of service with friendly/helpful staff. Clean, well maintained rooms and a delicious breakfast. I would definitely come again and recommend to friends and family. Thank you for an enjoyable break.

I stayed at the Muize B&B for a week and felt very comfortable and safe. The staff is so friendly and I felt very welcome at all times. The breakfast is rich and delicious too. You can reach the Muizenberg Beach within 10 Minutes by walking. The shared bathroom got cleaned evreryday and the bed was comfortable. It was very windy at that time and I felt it a little in the room too and that was quite noisy, probably for isolation reasons.. All in all I can really recommend the place.

The staff were very friendly and welcoming, the service was excellent, the food was also excellent and the rooms were clean, fresh and that made me sleep like a baby throughout the night. Keep up the excellent work/service.

Once Again - meaning. Sustainable Reliable Constant service,location, living,friendly,excellence at The Muize. Extremely safe, 150m non threatening walking distance to numerous beaches. Wind/Kite surf new activity in the vast stretch of pristine clean beaches. Family and pet friendly beach environment. Truly harmonious experience of South Africa rainbow nation, together in nature.

My partner and I stayed at The Muize in Nov. 2023 and we loved being there. Meg was warm, welcoming, and accommodating to our needs. The room was very comfortable and had a great view onto the water and the mountains. We loved the area and Meg was helpful in suggesting restaurants and places to go.

Stay at the Muize for one night. Requested single beds but not set up. We asked for them to be changed to single. Shower was in bath. Cold water. Shower head bad. Very noisy night with accommodation very close to main road and lots of traffic noise. No aircon or fan in room.
