Sumit and team were very accommodating to all our requests. Rooms were clean and neat. Breakfast was delicious. Very close to Colaba market. Cut the fruit that we purchased and served to us. Felt like home. Sheetal chemist which was nearby was also very helpful. Has delicious meals at restaurants nearby.

The Hotel is the best budget alternative to the Taj Mahal Hotel in Colaba, Mumbai. It's a trendy hotel with a very professional staff - always ready to help. The rooms and dining area is awesome, and location is perfect!!! If visitors want to stay near the Gateway of India, this is the best option.

Superb location, awesome views, renovated, clean, boutique feel with immaculate super quick service. The restaurant serves food for which people from Mumbai line up in their big cars. Reasonable pricing and if you are on second floor that too awesome. Bathroom is small but quirky and nice. Staff is excellent and offer meaningful suggestions. Gateway is 2 min walk, fountain takes 8 mins to walk, Leopold and montegar are at 1 min walk. The area is still so quite and a drive to Marine drive in taxi costs only 55 rupees by meter. Stay here even if you have budget for Taj.

the best is that hotel is in center of tourist area. everything is in walking distance, so no problem with taxis. hotel has restaurant which offers chinese food. breakfast is included and good. limited offer of western and indian food. i was satisfied. rooms are not big, tv is really small. overall: i have no problem to stay there again. especially cause of location.

Spacious, quiet and comfortable room with a few quirks. The internet in my room just never worked, despite multiple attempts to fix it. I ended up using my phone as a hotspot. As others have mentioned, the bathroom is miniscule. But it's Mumbai! And right in the heart of the city where space is at a premium. It was ***ageable. The bed was nice, hot water plentiful and the room stylish and impeccably clean. Don't order wine from room service! It was like vinegar. Better to buy a nice bottle nearby and ask housekeeping for a glass. However! Having stayed at Abode (literally around the corner in the same building) for half the price and a cool, quirky vibe, I found Gordon House overpriced.

A comfortable hotel, with attentive staff in an amazing location. It was also surprisingly quiet given how close it is to the busy tourist area. The breakfast was great and included cereal/fruit as well as eggs to order. A few reviews have mentioned the small bathroom - which we also experienced. But the shower pressure and temperature are good and you get used to the small size.

This fantastic boutique hotel could not be in a better location. Located right in the centre of Mumbai only 2 min walk to Leopalds Cafe or the Gateway of India. It’s quaint & quiet. The breakfast is very limited but you get the option to order as well. The bathrooms are also quite small. However, nothing to really critique as it was an incredible stay.

Awesome stay right in the heart of Mumbai. The linen was the cleanest even better than few 5 star hotels. The room was large n superclean, the feel was posh, I loved every bit of stay there. Although washroom size is little small, but it has all amenities and toiletries. 'All stir fry' restaurant has a must try menu. Will definitely visit again
