We visited Lakeside Chalet Marriott Executive apartments, Powai on 30th sept. 1. Got check-in after waiting for 2 hours 2. We had requested 2 cribs for babies under 1.5 years at the time of booking. It took the hotel 6 hrs after late check-in of 2 hours and several calls to help desk to finally get the cribs 3. The rooms were unsanitary. There were lots of dirt and dust on the floor and we had to call the hotel team 4 times to finally get the room cleaned, after 4 hours! 4. Every request and call made for snacks, cleaning the room were done only after a minimum of 3-4 calls to help desk after running out of patience 5. Breakfast cafe on the following day was full and we were asked to move to Westin which is at a steep height and difficult to climb with 2 babies in tow. We waited patiently for 20 mins only to reach Westin and be questioned by the Westin staff and hostess that why are we there. When we told Marriott team asked to come there then they put us on wait list, we waited with crying babies for 1 hr, ***y requests to offer us some place to feed the hungry babies.. pls note ***y tables were empty and only delayed bcoz they weren't cleaned up. 6. While check-out, we waited for over 1.5 hrs to get all our issues addressed and ensure such service is not received by other guests staying with babies. UTTERLY HORRENDOUS SERVICE EXPERIENCE. Would highly recommend staying at any other property in Mumbai but this. It DOES NOT live upto Marriott name and this should be strictly looked into bu the ***agement.
