Munkebo Kro & Hotel

If you do not have any issues with allergies, specifically mold, you will still find this place a basic three star for accommodations but a 4 star for food. Unfortunately, I suffered in this environment despite consuming every defensible medication I had. I wish I could have left but we were on a tour with a small group. The location is in a sparely populated area. The good news is they have a SPAR and a community grocery store 365 within walking distance of the hotel. We and many others utilized these stores often during our stay. The prices for a meal in the restaurant were very high, even with the USD so strong. I can say that because I spend a great deal of time in Europe traveling to various countries. The "Inn", Kro translates to Inn I think, can provide a scenic view to the water if you have room on the second floor. They are much larger than the tiny room we were in on the ground floor. Our room looked out into the parking lot about 20 feet away and the gazebo for smokers. If we did not have the curtains closed everyone had a direct view to our room. Which when they were open they felt free to look at us. Positives to this place. The staff were very nice. The group meal that we had there was very good. Everyone was very complimentary. The breakfast was above average and person and I do mean the one person who was hustling to make sure tables were cleared cleaned and available and the food restocked did an excellent job. Summary. We will never go back to this place. With that said, the area is beautiful and serene and we would most likely stay somewhere in Odense if we were to return.

Wir waren am Sonntag zum Mittag da. Wir waren die einzigen. Es wurde sich aber freundlich um uns gekümmert. Die Auswahl war überschaubar. Das Essen war sehr lecker. Die Portion ausreichend. Wir hatten eine Fischplatte. Der Fisch war auf den Punkt. Die Kinderspeisen waren auch gut und nicht nur Pommes frites. Wir würden wieder kommen.
