Holiday Inn Club Vacations South Beach Resort

If you want to have very good vacation this is the place to go. The staff are very friendly and nice the rooms are nice and clean easy excess to shopping and places to go. You have excess to the beach , pool and hottub. Very nice and quiet hotel to visit

This review will be applicable to families with toddlers. We were traveling with Parents and 1 toddler, Grandma and Aunt - 4 adults and 1 child. Had no complaints regarding cleanliness/check-in. We stayed in Building A on the 3rd floor - I'd recommend trying to get the 4th/top floor because the last night we were there a family moved in above us and they walked like elephants. Our room faced the pool which proved quite entertaining to our toddler. We anticipated that being in the flight path - resort is next to the airport - might be problematic, but we watched so many helicopters take off - every 5 minutes during the day and also planes & jet planes. We talked about the colors of the helicopters, "bye-bye" copter!, it was great entertainment! Aunt thought it was a bit obnoxious. A nice feature of our pool was that a portion of the outdoor pool was under cover - really nice when we'd had enough sun. Under cover hot-tub and outdoor hot tub, lazy river - never busy or crowded. We found out on our 2nd to last day why - the other pool with the swim up bar and the Splash Pad was the more "happening" location. Our toddler enjoyed the Splash pad a bit, but the lower-key pool at our building was perfect for a 16 month old. All the staff we encountered were very friendly. I do wish they presented us with a sheet listing the hours of all the various things like gym, Market Place deli, Splash Pad, Shuttle - I had to ask and then write down the schedules myself - they don't have it all listed on one sheet. Gym should really be expanded - 1 elliptical, 2 treadmills. A shuttle runs from 9-5 and will take you to the beach - it's just a bit too far to walk if you're carrying chairs, bags, equipment, kids. But you can also drive to the beach and park in South Beach parking lot - get Dad to drop the gang off at the pool entrance beachside and then he can go park - because there is no crosswalk fro parking lot to beachside - felt dangerous with kids. Overall, a very pleasant stay.

I stayed for my son’s birthday trip and had two rooms. Roaches not water bugs were all in the units!! I called about them and the only thing the manager was concerned about was whether they were dead or alive. No offer to discount our room, comp a night or late checkout, or do anything!! We were literally freaked out but had already paid!! I had to ask for someone to come and spray the next day. By the way they were both alive and dead! In the signature collection resort and the regular where the boys stayed. Best part they got in our stuff and came home with us so I had to pay an exterminator for the car!!!!! No apologies just sorry for the inconvenience- inconvenience!! You should be heavy fumigating for the price of this resort if you know you have cock roaches! Poor management just sad! I would have went above and beyond for guest to make this right and apologize

Reading these reviews with our tour scheduled for tomorrow, I most certainly hope we will not be held against our will one minute past 2 hours. We have children with us and will not be accommodating anything over 120 minutes. If this isn't feasible you need to make that clear, because that would be false advertising, and totally unacceptable. Was actually considering buying in, but this is scary and weird.

We love the Myrtle Beach area and this resort is very special. We love the accommodations and the team members are always friendly and helpful. Typically we visit here once a year and sometimes twice. Love the pool area especially the lazy river. The beach is across the street and very accessible. The internet is strong as I do some work while traveling. We had family and friends that were here for the first time and the loved the resort. We love that there are so many favorite awesome restaurants in the area. Villa Romana twice as well as the Hot Fish Club. Beautiful weather. Beautiful well kept resort. Love this place. Be back after Thanksgiving but staying at the new resort on the Beach as it has opened.

We ere in the 2 bedroom side of the unit. People in the connecting room had 2 dogs that barked constantly whenever the people would go out. I called the front desk and were told they were companion dogs. NOT!! If they were, they would have gone with the 2 couples when they went out to dinner!! If they were companion dogs, something was clearly wrong with all of the loud barking. I made a recording of the barking to show the level of noise and took it to the desk. They were not interested in giving me any help. They acted like I was a complainer, which I am not. We had a baby under one year with us, and the constant noise was horrible anytime the occupants of that room left and left their companion dogs behind. This was the noisiest hotel stay we have ever experienced!!! It ruined our experience!!
