The best of stays on our EBC trek. We stayed at the Nirvana both on the way up and down from EBC, the views from the terrace are amazing, the food is fantastic and the rooms are comfortable and clean. The hotel owners are friendly and welcoming and nothing is too much trouble. It was my favourite stay for the whole of our trek and I would highly recommend using this hotel for your acclimatisation days in Namche.

Definitely the best place to stay in Namche. Very helpful owners, excellent food and great atmosphere The house has a very good location for starting a hike and the view from there is just fantastic.

During our recent Everest Basecamp trekking our group of 5 friends stayed 4 nights in Nirvana (3 on way up, 1 on way down). The family that runs Nirvana is so lovely! We realized that we carried a few useless kilo’s too much in our packs. It was no problem to leave them in this lodge and pick it up on our way down. The food was excellent and the hot showers were top! Opening the curtain each morning after a good night sleep was a present; the view from our rooms overlooking Namche is unforgettable.

Stayed here twice during my trek to Everest base camp . It’s a fantastic place to stay . Lovely warm and clean rooms . Toilet facilities excellent, you can avail of a hot shower which was very welcome . The food is very tasty and the owners are really friendly and helpful. Such amazing views . Thank you for a wonderful stay .

Nirvana Home has great views of Namche Bazaar and the room we had (107) being on the corner had great morning and afternoon sun. With double pane windows the room stayed nice and warm. Tsering and his family and staff took great care of us while we had bad colds there during our stay. The food is great at the lodge and the view of Namche and the mountains at night is fantastic. Definitely would recommend this as the place to stay in Namche Bazaar.

The views are outstanding, the balcony perfect for breakfast or tea, the food delicious, the staff treat you like family, the rooms are comfortable with excellent views, and is the home of Kancha Sherpa. The book Tough and Cheerful by Patricia Moon is his story - the last living member of the first ascent of Everest.

Staying here on my way to do the Three pass trek. Just what I needed for my acclimatization day Welcoming staff, clean place, tasty food, warm, good NCell connection, free wifi, hot shower. Highly recommended!

BEST TIME. A beautiful hotel in Namche. The owners and staff are extemely friendly and helpful, speak great English, and cook good clean food. Wish I was hiking down the mountain because I would 100% stay here again. Also, the owner’s father is the last living Sherpa from the first successful summit expedition. Get the book!
