We stay here when visiting family. Love the view and have always had a positive experience. Lighting the outside walkway would be a big improvement.

Beautiful view to wake up to and have morning coffee. Breakfast was portioned as we like (smaller) and priced appropriately.

Spacious with great soaking tub & lovely coastal view. Kitchenette area/closet was disorganized. Hostess was pleasant & check in was easy.

**This is a room in a someones home** The host was very friendly. The room and adjoining bathroom were spotless. The location is residential at a top a very steep climb. There is nothing close by to eat (we had food delivered). The view from the balcony is amazing. I would have given higher rating if I the listing made it clear that it was a room in the house. It was a bit disorienting to expect a traditional B&B and then be staying in a room in a persons house.

Exceptional Views!! Great Hospitality!! Absolute worth for the Vacation! Cari was the one who received us at the main entrance and explained everything well and she even helped us with walk through of other suites as well when we asked how other room look (no guests checked in at that time). We're spellbound by the views, you dont get to see them from any hotel in Nanaimo i believe. It's a homely atmosphere completely and great location! We met Charles while checking out he's very cool too. We'll definitely look for this same spot in our next visits too. Breakfast is optional for extra $10 which we should inform before night, but we already planned to have outside so we didn't take that option, for sure it would have been good experience too had we taken that. Regarding views of Sunset, Sunrise, Pipers lagoon, etc, photos dont do justice, have to be there to witness the beauty.

Our stay was excellent, our hosts were extremely friendly and knowledgeable, and met us at our request. The amenities were everything we needed. The views from the property were more than expected, and the high tide was really worth getting up for. And yes we highly recommend and would return when next we are in Nanaimo.
