I think you can enjoy the eight food center about 10 minutes by car, and there are local dishes and seafood markets.

This is my third time coming to Aomori for work. I always use Dormy Inn on business trips. The large public bath at the Dormy Inn in Hachinohe is minimal in size, but it has a nice view and is very comfortable.
