When I came to Sun Moon Lake, I walked along the lakeside and watched the shining water surface caused by the breeze, causing waves of ripples, lining the distant mountain scenery, the scenery is really touching. While the sun still hasn’t fully jumped to the sky, I quickly change into my gear, step on a bicycle, and ride along the road around the lake. Enjoyed my stay here. The service was extremely good, the reception very kindly recommended us places to visit. The hotel sells bicycle rental voucher with papago (bike rental shop) at a discounted price of NTD 100 for a full day rental (8am to 5pm) and also round trip boat ride tickets at NTD 250. Hotel rooms are clean and the bed was comfy. Breakfast here starts at 8.30 to 9.30 and it was simple but good.
The hotel is about 6 minutes away from the bus terminal in Shuishe Visitor Centre. It's recommended to think twice before booking if you have too much luggage as you have to walk by the roadside (no pedestrian lane). Also, the hotel reception is located separately from the hotel so be prepared to walk about 3 minutes to your room. Note there's quite a steep slope here to the rooms and there are wooden planks you have to pull your bag over. The nearest 7 Eleven is also at the Visitor Centre so you have to walk out there.

Came back for the second time visiting Sun Moon Lake. The service was excellent, the breakfast also came out tasty!

The room was able to see the lake and sunrise. The room is very clean and quite roomy. The hotel staff was very helpful. Breakfast was included, ours was salad, eggs and fruits which is a tasty healthy one.

Great things have been said by other reviewers about Yue Lake and I totally agree, but I'd like to mention how wonderful the staff here is! I left my AirPods in our room and the staff was quick to notify Trip.com about it. Since we were already back in Taichung at this point, the staff went out of their way to ship my AirPods to my location. They made it so easy and never made me feel like they were doing me a favor when they were in fact doing me such a huge favor.
Thank you, Yue Lake! You've guys made me fall in love with Taiwan more. I'm definitely staying here again when I'm back in Yuchi.

Would recommend to travel light as there is no lift. However, the concept is good with lake view.

People is nice, room is clean. All goood! I am happy with the stay, but somehow, the room view was blocked by all the trees during my stayed. Hence, there’s no lake view for me during my stay :(
