Aeolos Villas Sustainable Living

Aeolos is located in a very small village (without facilities), but maximum half an hour's walk from Naxos town and a 5 minutes drive by car. We rented a car to explore the island. It is a perfect base. Aeolos is quiet, very spacious, spotless!!, has 3 terraces, 1 with plunge pool. Elini the host was very helpful and welcomed us with fresh juice and wine. The breakfast is fresh and good.

Everything was exceptional! This place is probably the best thing in Naxos. Highly recommend!! Everyone should try the breakfast as it’s all made from fresh local ingredients made by the lovely host. Spacious villa and relaxing plunge pool is the way to go! Very close to town centre, but you need a car to reach it.

This hotel is a gem and a great place to avoid noise and crowds. The room and property are maintained to high standards, and Eleni was engaging. The bed, towels, and kitchen supplies were all the best quality. You can't ask for more! It is a quick drive to town and many beaches, making it a great home base on Naxos.

This was our second stay in the biggest of the units (Erato). For two persons, the space available is really extravagant and the apartment was exceptionally clean and well maintained. The location is in the countryside and you can see the sea in the distance. In general this is a good choice for some calm relaxation, but you need a car for everything: get to the bakery or supermarket in the morning, beach during the day and Town at night. No real complaints, but we had some issue with the bedroom door, which makes a lot of noise when you open it, so not nice when one person goes to bed later than the other one or when someone needs the bathroom at night. The aircondition unit is in a very inconvenient location because it blows directly onto one half of the bed, so you can choose have it warm and stuffy or lie in icy wind (we set the temperature to 24C but it was still cold wind blowing onto the bed). The Erato unit is very strangely designed. The first bedroom upstairs does not have a door, so it is directly connected via the stairs to the living room downstairs. Furthermore you have to step through this first bedroom to reach the other bedroom with the noisy door (at least there is a door). So for a couple this is all great, for a young family probably too, but not so much for two adult couples expecting some privacy. The rates are generally reasonable, except in July and August, unless you get a last minute deal. We like it there and would probably book again, but it does have some drawbacks depending on your taste. Eleni is a super nice host and can provide tips for tours, if you’re on the island for the first time.

Beautiful space full of sunlight and inspiring sophisticated details, simple and authentic, super charming suite with all amenities. The host, Mrs. Eleni is wonderful, always around to help you out with anything you may need.

Eleni was a fantastic host. So helpful and accommodating with her advice of what to visit and see during our short stay. The villa was beautiful, so clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the homemade breakfast on our terrace and the sunset views from the private jacuzzi.

Very well designed villa. Everything in perfect condition. Very clean. Good location to visit the beaches, Naxos town and the mountain villages. Eleni is a very nice host and made our stay perfect. In the evening you can enjoy the sundown and have views of Naxos town, the sea and even can see Paros in the background.

Our stay was perfect - even before we arrived, we were able to procure a car rental through Eleni, and we found the price to be fair. Upon arrival, Eleni greeted us with juice made from spoon sweets and so much useful information about the property and the island. The suite was very comfortable, clean and very nicely decorated. She also offered us wine and meals made by her from produce from her family's farm - we wish we could have taken advantage of that offer, but our stay was too short. We very much hope that we will return.

Eleni est une hôte vraiment sympa qui prend le temps de répondre aux questions et donne de bons conseils quant aux découvertes sur l'île. L'accueil était simple et agréable avec un rafraîchissement. La chambre, ou plutôt la petite maison est vraiment spacieuse et bien agencée. La literie confortable et la douche agréable. Une bouteille de vin nous a été offerte à notre arrivée également. Pour le côté terrasse semi ombragée, c'était parfait avec un banc, une table pour déjeuner, des transats et le jacuzzi. Nous avons pris un petit déjeuner un matin (en supplément), il est vraiment complet , frais et excellent. A noter qu'il est facile de stationner, que c'est a l'écart de la ville, donc au calme mais seulement à 5 min du port, 15 min d'Agia Prokopia (plage) donc idéalement placé pour ceux qui ont une voiture. Je recommande cet endroit, nous avons passé 4 nuits très agreables
