As the name suggests you are right on the water when you stay here. Our room was sparklingly clean and fresh when we arrived. Features are a comfy king size bed and really big bathroom with detachable shower head in the shower. Eco friendly push button soaps as well as regular soap and shampoo provided Tea and coffee are quality and two packs of welcome biscuits are in the kitchen area The fridge is pretty small but there is a good sized toaster and kettle. A free continental breakfast is offered in the upstairs breakfast room Not all the guest rooms have views of the harbour Ours was the carpark Also the air came in through the window or sliding door in the glass wall of our room that ran along the first floor balcony. Block out curtains also blocked out the fresh air and with the curtains open there was not much privacy when others went by on the balcony.. alternatively we could have just used the ac unit and closed the curtains The location was just a few minutes drive to the centre of Nelson Staff are very friendly and helpful There is a washer and dryer are fresh water to top up and encourage reusing water bottles Would stay again but opt for a harbour view room

Excellent service right from booking to stay. We had a family group of seven adults and Robyn organised two side by side units which perfectly suited our situation. All admin staff very friendly and helpful. The units were extremely clean and well appointed for our needs. With a supermarket across the road and a walk of ten minutes into town this was a great position. Highly recommend and would definitely stay again.

A fabulously appointmented executive spa studio.Despite a relatively small area, every inch was used to ensure the comfort of guests, including a filted water tap. We used the veranda each day over our 4 night stay as well as the laundry facilities ($4 for a wash and clothes airer provided). Our room was quiet, easy to access, and the spa was great to use at the end of a busy day of sightseeing. We were very impressed with the cleanliness of the apartment that was refreshed each day. Wouldn't hesitate to stay again.

The room is spacious and looks modern, but as soon as I stepped in with my partner, a putrid smell lurked the rooms.i informed the receptionist about the smell and she just told me that it's the standard smell of all rooms. (Gross) and I then told her, the receptionist, that if she can get me a spray or something to mask the smell. She never came back. Horrible service. Like atleast have the decency to come back. I felt unwelcomed, and ripped off.

The price has the advantage of being a little cheaper than other holiday top 10, but it was a little disappointing that towels were not provided.
The facilities were clean and the staff were friendly, which was nice.

The location is very good. Right next to the beach. It is close to McDonald's and KFC, liquor stores, restaurants, and children's playgrounds. Hygienic and clean. But the room facilities are older. The toilet seat lids are so old they don't look good and won't be replaced. The power safe is in the bedroom, and the sound of the current is loud and harsh. It's fine during the day, but too harsh at night. Said to fix it, but never came. There was no parking space when I went back after dinner. One day, the staff drove away her car and gave up the parking space. Later, when it was later, we tried not to drive. The service staff were very responsive, we had already left and they called to say we had left behind our children's clothes. really thankful.

Good location but not right on the beach - 10 minutes walk away and all amenities are also a fair distance away so my elderly inlaws had to be driven everywhere, with nothing within their walking distance. Rooms are dated but reasonably well equipped. Parking spaces are small, designed for small cars, not the huge SUVs and trucks that we all wallow around in now. Host David and his team are great, and go out of their way to help. High-speed WiFi, hundreds of Sky channels, outdoor table and a BBQ area made for a great stay. Warm and friendly holiday accommodation - recommended.

A very large site right on the coast with plenty of walks available. A little way out of town but, with the estuary and coast nearby, the site was a great place to stay. The facilities were clean and well-appointed, if a little widely spaced over the site. The staff were friendly and helpful and overall we had a good stay here in a camper van. Walking along the coastal path was great, with plenty of bird life to see and enjoy.

RRosemary MVery clean motels, located within easy walking distance to the beach, shops, plus many food outlets. The hosts are incredibly friendly and obliging - our team made very good use of the heated swimming pool, plus the bbq facilities. We have stayed here many times and have never been disappointed.

Frazier was a delight and so incredibly helpful when our flight from Aukland was delayed and we arrived late into Nelson he drove us down to pharmacy before it closed and also helped facilitate making sure we received our delivery of hiking food before our early start the next day and to top it off stored our luggage while we were hiking Abel Tasman. Clean and well taken care of motel and I loved having the roomier space with two levels. Thank you for helping make our time in New Zealand so great!

GGuest UserStayed 2 nights attending a wedding at hotel. This place is humming. Garden bar filled with families, locals and cyclists enjoying Nelson’s cycle ways. Gardens are beautiful and immaculately kept. Bar staff are efficient and friendly. Our room was lovely. Very spacious bedroom and bathroom. Tea, coffee and continental breakfast refreshed daily.

GGuest UserAttempting to check in when the property Network Interface was not connected, causing our Card Transactions to decline, was an all to accurate fore-taste of things yet to come. The property owners (Paul and Adele, nominally) had seen fit to 'bugger off' for the holidays, leaving poor Gail (a friend, apparently) to look after everything in their absence. Poor Gail managed to get the Network running, but the room WiFi didn't work. She fixed this, bless her. Then, the Spa bath !! It was filthy and didn't work and remained so for the duration of our 3 night stay, despite the cleaners giving the bath a good clean the next day. My advice ? Stay WELL CLEAR of this poorly maintained and poorly managed property. And, by the way. The outdoor furniture was just shoddy white iron table and chairs, in no way, resembling that in the published photograph.

There was a bathroom in the room and bath towels were provided, so it was comfortable.
I was happy that I could use the washing machine for free.
The woman at the reception was also nice and had a nice atmosphere.
New Plymouth is a wonderful city!
