Sonder at Viewpoint

I’d grown to love Sonder and had a bad experience last year. Because they are so great, I have it another shot and they made up for last year. The place is well appointed and immaculately clean. All 3 beds were comfortable and had a variety of pillow types. The tall ceiling are dreamy and give size to a narrow layout. The bedrooms are spacious and kitchen was stocked with tea, salt/pepper, classes, a more than full set of dishes, silverware, cookware and (new) cleaning supplies. The stainless steel gas stove made cooking a breeze. Use the ceiling fan because the smoke detectors are sensitive. The patio is shared with the neighboring unit and hosts seating for 4. There were quite a few stairs and no elevator. Even with my foot injury, they weren’t a problem. I wouldn’t have my grandma walk them. The location on Magazine Street was full of small shops and restaurants. There were a few bars and lots of places to stroll in and out of. There was a Walgreens, Whole Foods and a park nearby. My stay was comfortable, clean, convenient and restful. I plan to return. Sonder usually doesn’t disappoint. I am a fan. 💛

During our stay, my family and I were pleasantly surprised by the comfort and atmosphere of the hotel. We all enjoyed the shower. It was definitely an experience. There were some steep stairs, but overall it was a pleasant stay. There is no doubt that we will book again in the future.

It was a fantastic location. Any time we needed anything we reached out through the app and someone got back to us very quickly. I was very impressed with the entire experience and how the staff were very responsive to our every need. The apartment was very nice and clean. Would 100% stay again.

It was a beautiful home. Wasn't happy about the stairs and the wobbly front patio but inside was great. Very comfortable inside where we just enjoyed the house for a couple days. The location is great with shopping and the amazing food

Loved this place. The location is great. Lots of places within walking distance. The beds were oh so comfy! The only thing we didn’t like was that you had to park on side streets or pay to park as there is no parking in front. The living room furniture wasn’t very comfy due to the sofa being small, but since we were out and about most of the time, that was minor. I would definitely stay here again!!!!

I love how convenient the location was to everything! This Sonder was perfect, very clean, nice natural lights, plenty of linen and was filled with charm. Definitely one of the best Sonder locations Ive stayed at. The only drawback is the parking, but I got lucky and found some street parking right outside my Sonder.

Cute front porch! Rooms were large and very clean. Exceptionally nice shower and kitchen! We enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend. The location was perfect on Magazine street with lots of walkable restaurants and shops.

As long as you are not driving to this property, everything about it is wonderful! Clean. Spacious. In a cute little neighborhood with shops & dining options (there's a wonderful French bakery a bock away & options for pizza, Thai food, Sushi & more within a block or two). If you're flying into New Orleans & using rideshare or taxis, then this place is perfect. If you have a car, its not good. There is no parking around the unit... it's all short-term meters & freight zones. The closest parking (according to the SpotHero app that Sonder recommended) is 1.2 miles away. That ******. So, I wouldn't stay if you've got a car to park. I would definitely stay here if you're relying on rideshare, taxis or public transportation (the streetcars are only a few blocks away). I guess I should note that you need to go up a fairly steep set of stairs to go in & out, but even my mother & her knees problems was able to handle it. Overall, it was definitely a thumbs up for this place!

We absolutely loved this location on Magazine. It was so clean and having 3 king beds made for a very comfortable stay. The location was perfect and we felt extremely safe! We loved having restaurants so close, especially La Boulangerie. It was a beautiful walk to St Charles street where we could take the street car downtown or uptown! We would love to come back again!!
