Hampton Inn by Hilton New Orleans French Quarter Market Area

This hotel is very fairly priced, and the location is unbeatable. The staff was super friendly, and the breakfast was delicious every morning. The only small issue we encountered was that the desk chair in our room kept sinking. We asked the front desk about swapping it out for another chair but didn't get a resolution. The next day we left a note for housecleaning and they fixed it immediately. Overall and excellent stay and we definitely come back.

Awesome Hotel! This place is super nice and super clean! Great breakfast in the morning really got our days started off right! One block walk to Frenchmen street for great food and music! Only a few blocks away from the French Market and Jackson Square. I definitely recommend this property!

The hotel was a little hard to find. Better signage would be helpful. Once we located the building check in was easy and dining and entertainment venues were very close by.

Clean rooms Breakfast was more than adequate Hope on reception was helpful It’s NOT a 7 minute walk to bourbon street as it says on the website Don’t ask the hotel to book you a cab, they did it for us and the driver tried to rip me off There’s no way to email the hotel before or after your stay which is inconvenient

The property was very clean and well kept. We checked in on new year's eve and the lady at the front desk was unpleasant. She didn't greet us or even looked us in the eyes. Just felt very cold and rude for a front desk staff member. That wasn't a good start, however the rest of the staff were FABULOUS. I cannot commend the person who kept up the dining area, I think his name was Gerard (?). I've never seen anyone work so hard and was so meticulous with keep everything clean and well stocked, I was so impressed! Someone give that man a raise. The property is brand new and well kept! It's located at the end of all of the commotion and you'll have to walk through some quiet and questionable blocks, it can feel uncomfortable at night, but during the day time, it's not so bad. I had 2 small children with me and we were able to get by safely. Public transportation is a few blocks down, I didn't feel comfortable catching the bus in that area so relied on Uber/Lyft when we needed to go far. It's within walking distance to the Frenchmen Quarters, so that was convenient. I wouldn't recommend this area with small children since there aren't many eateries that are kid friendly or convenient stores to pick up a quick bite. If you're single and looking for a quiet place to sleep and willing to walk a few blocks to Frenchmen street, this is a great option for you!

Summer the manager and the lady who helped us switch room were amazing. They made our check in and stay easy and even answered our 1000 questions lol.

Clean, safe, descent free breakfast and reasonably price rooms. Staff was very pleasant.

We’ve never stayed at a Hampton Inn before, but we loved our stay. This hotel is less than a year old and it’s in an incredible location. Just behind the French Quarter, but close enough to walk to. The staff was very friendly. Shout out to Andrea, Denise, Hope and Summer. I loved that security is tight. The front doors are locked pretty early and a security guard is on patrol all night. The neighborhood is filled with cool restaurants, coffee shops, liquor stores and right around the corner from Frenchman St., which is a cool entertainment district with great shopping and restaurants as well. My only complaint is that I wish the rooms had robes and a safe. But I can’t think of anything else that I didn’t like. In fact we’ve decided that we’re going to stay at this hotel each time we visit New Orleans. For the quality of service, the really nice room and bathroom, complimentary breakfast, security and location, this hotel is an incredible value. The management must be top notch to know how to hire a great staff! Thank you! 🙏

I would stay at this property over and over again. Not only was the hotel and rooms overall just beautiful, but the location was stellar. Walkable to the French Quarter & Frenchmen St, extremely quiet street and a room with a balcony is another beautiful touch.
