Sept 17-I called the hotel from PDX at time of check in to let them know that we would not be arriving until about midnight, but are on our way and would definitely be checking in. Reservations had been made in February.
Upon arrival, we were told that there were no rooms available in the hotel. We were told that they tried to call me before allowing another guest to extend their stay. (I was on a 6 hour flight and there is no record of a call).
We were finally shuttled to a Manhattan property (40 minute drive after waiting about 30 minutes for a car to arrive) where we were given one very small room for 3 people, despite booking, and being charged for, 2 rooms.
Sept 18-We had to check out of our temporary hotel and take luggage with us (9 pieces) as check in was not until 3 pm. We were told we would be reimbursed for our Lyft trip back to Brooklyn, but were shorted about $5 because they did not have enough cash.
Rooms were not sufficiently cleaned (blood on a pillow, mold in the shower) and the HVAC did not work. They were aware it was not working as there was a note above it stating it did not work.
September 19- Arrived at hotel in the evening. None of our key cards worked. We were told there was no credit card on file. Card presented at check in, this happened 3 more times during our stay
My party noticed several bites we were not aware of getting while out and about, there were multiple blood spots on sheets, indicating we had been bitten,
