If you want a good view, you can’t go wrong by booking this hotel. You must book the Skyline. The highest floor that the elevator can reach is 36 Skyline. The line is at 35. It’s really beautiful at night. If you are looking for comfortable accommodation, there are better hotels at the same price. Although there are always patrols in the busier streets of Manhattan, there are still some homeless and secluded small hotels nearby when you go out at night. Try not to walk on the alley. The primary reason we chose this was because of its proximity to the Peloton studios, and that did not disappoint. We were a 3 minute walk away from peloton which made getting into the live classes super convenient. The hotel itself is great- very clean, friendly staff, and decently sized rooms for NYC. Overall, we were very happy with our stay.

They made this trip truly enjoyable and demonstrated why one should choose to stay at the CDMX above all other options. The hotel is beautiful and a truly luxurious experience. Furthermore, this hotel is in the middle of everything. It's very easy to walk to nearly every tourist destination and it's right on the hop on/hop off bus route. I would highly recommend for you trip to CDMX.

The first thing I will mention is that the hotel is 5 star and is expectedly, very expensive, being in the heart of Times Square. I took this into account when writing my review. If I am paying that much, my expectations would be higher than normal. I stayed for 12 nights over the Christmas and NY period so I obtained a very comprehensive view of the hotel and everything about it. Overall it was a very comfortable stay and the staff were always there to attend to any requests and issues. The moment I got out of my transfer car, there was a lovely young gentleman waiting to get all my bags and transport me upstairs to the reception. The check-in was reasonably flawless but there was a bit of confusion around the payment because of resort fees the hotel charges daily. I prepaid my booking and there was confusion over whether it included or excluded the resort fee. The reception area is immaculately presented and the bar and restaurant are both located here. I intended to use the gym during my stay, but didn't have time to even take a peek. Nor did I visit the bar or restaurant. There's way too many options outside to do that. The very polite and courteous young gentleman then took me up to my room. He showed me everything and away he went. I got a bit of a room upgrade which I highly appreciated and had a beautiful view of Times Square. I was on the 2nd highest floor, floor 39. The room is not big. It was adequate for one person but nothing more. I don't think I would be able to stay here if I was with another person. It would be too uncomfortable and I had to find space for my 2 suitcases and carry-on. The bathroom is open plan, with a door for the shower and toilet. A big problem I had in my room was that if it was windy you will hear a loud whistle coming through the bottom of the front door. It really annoyed me. I had to take the cover off the bed and make a snake shape to block the gap underneath the door to stop the noise. Even a bath towel didn't work. They need to fix this. The hotel is very new and the rooms are very beautifully equipped, presented and maintained. I was pleased to see that most of the things I requested before I arrived (some extra bath mats, bath towels, hand towels, face towels, mini fridge, bathroom scale) were mostly there upon arrival. I quantified the number of towels I needed as I was not getting any housekeeping during my 12 night stay but I did not get the quantity requested. I expected a bit more attention to detail for a 5 star hotel. Before I arrived I was asked if I was celebrating a special occasion and Guest Services pushed up my expectations as I was celebrating a special occassion and they said something nice, I assume maybe a cake or some alcohol would be waiting for me in the room. When I arrived there was nothing. And there was never going to be anything throughout my stay. I didn't mind and only remembered towards the end of the stay. Later, under the coordination of Ctrip, a part was returned, and Ctrip helped me to pay the rest. Thanks for Ctrip's support! The hotel received $ 162.76, but in the end it charged me $ 413.41, more than $ 250! The pre-authorization at check-in was only $ 187.76, and the front desk had no objection to the pre-authorization account at check-out. Amazing hotel in the best area , close to everything . Hotel itself clean , cute cozy. Room is very decent, we see the Empire State from our room , breakfast has hot and cold stuff and to go food if you want for a snack , I loved their coffee. People from reception, breakfast team, housekeeping are decent , helpful and working hard. They hv a cozy cute table downstairs for a drink or the 26th floor which is the top notch to see NY and direct to the Empire State. My only recommendation pls do a deep clean for the carpet in z rooms as we noted stains . I def recommended and will go there again and again

Because the plane was late, I arrived at the hotel at 1 o'clock in the middle of the night. The lady at the front desk helped me to check in very quickly. It was the speed of New York. Hotel location is very good. About 5 minutes walk to Fifth Avenue, turn to Central Park, and the subway station will walk for 5 minutes. Stayed in this IHG one night Sunday May 7th. Yes small bathrooms and small vanity but the breakfast and service was almost like a zombie apocalypse happened. We got down there way before breakfast ended and there was NOTHING left in terms of soemthing to drink. Name it, it was gone. No water, juice, milk. Oops the coffee machine to the left might have been working. My wife asked about it at front desk the lady cleaning up, but not really since all trash bins were overflowed, could not understand. I asked for a knife and finally when I acted it out did she get it. The frig, literally NOTHING IN IT. I have never seen that before at an IHG. No bagels, no muffins. When I got there there were 2 cinnamon rolls left, I got one of them. I took pics of the empty stuff, I took pics of the trash. This went off the rails when my wife asks for a muffin and tells of the situation and it's like come down sooner. Like what? No sorry? My wife was incensed. Then another lady, MUCH BETTER WITH hospitality skills, started passing out bottled water she got from storage for people. We got 2 of those. Yes there was PLENTY of eggs and sausage. That was literally it. I have never seen that before. Yes the bathroom vanity was small. The door kept opening even if you cracked it. The room was larger but built around the subway sound of the elevator shafts. The sound didn't bother us much but in am wow. Just a tough stay. The bed was nice. The room temp was easliy controlled. I am shocked at the disaster of the morning. Never seen that as Platinum member in almost 20 years of staying at IHG's. I feel I should write a letter to the hotel. The issue was just no way to fix anything. NO one was wow out of that, ok will get more. There was no one to really help anyone. I felt terrible for a set of parents with 2 kids. I was like not much around, try to get water. They had some sausage on a plate. There was a few slices of bread left as well. Stunningly bad. Happliy some guy came and braught my wife a frozen bagel we want to room and thawed with a hair-dryer. I took a pic of that too. We love IHG's over marriott but this was a fun on miss from what we saw at 910am on.

Fantastic experience at the Hotel Sherman for my daughter's first trip to NYC. This boutique hotel reminds me of a quaint European boutique hotel or B&B. Our room was very cute, clean and quiet. It's right on Restaurant Row so there are a variety of delicious options just steps away. We recommend choosing take out and enjoying your dinner on the cozy roof top terrace which has a beautiful view above the roar of street level. The staff was friendly, gracious and helpful. We appreciated their willingness to store our luggage before and after check in/check out. The continental breakfast had a good array of options. The croissants in particular melted in your mouth. My daughter is gluten free but had plenty of options with hard boiled eggs, yogurt and fruit. We did pick up some gluten free bread nearby. The rooms also have a mini fridge, coffee maker and microwave which are nice amenities to have. Just steps away from Times Square, the Theater District, the Port Authority and so many midtown sites, I would highly recommend this gem. The only critique I would have is the carpet in the elevator and hallways are a bit worn, but the charm of the rooms and gracious hospitality more than makes up.

We were in New York for six days. The location is great! A metro station is close by (approx. 8 minutes on foot). Restaurants, bars and a Target are right around the corner. Everything is clean and everything you need is there… Towels, soap, shampoo etc. You could even do your laundry there. Great kitchen and a great lounge! We will be back definitely!
