Hotele niedaleko Statue of Liberty, Nowy Jork

Omgosh ... hotel was really nice! Breakfast was excellent and it lasted til 11a, which is pretty awesome for those that like to sleep late. So many options (hot, cold and dry). They offer bacon, sausage, scrambled/cold boiled eggs and breakfast potatoes. Whole fruit (apples and bananas), sliced fruit (melons and pineapples). Cold and hot cereal (oatmeal). Yogurt and granola. You can make your own waffles or pancakes (such a cool machine). Make your own toast and/or select from many pastries or muffins available. So many options! You can even place an order vs. eating from the buffet. They also allow carry-out and to-go boxes. Drink options at the buffet include: coffee, O.J. and apple juice. PLEASE NOTE: There's a separate fee for breakfast if not selected when booking. Having said this, the hotel does not have microwaves in the room, just a fridge. There are microwaves located on each floor though (along w/ vending machines -both are in same location). Our room was spotless and absolutely spacious (no deviation from website)! We arrived way beyond check-in and did call once we knew we'd arrive later than expected. Spoke with front desk staff who assured everything would be OK, only to arrive and find that our room (which was already paid in full) had been given away. The hotel was only able to provide us a King and a rollaway bed. Of course we were disappointed, but the next morning the hotel Mgr. made everything right. Having said that, the rollaway bed is THE HARDEST THING EVER. We bring our own everything (e.g. bedding, cleaning supplies, etc.) so we were able to make it work and make it comfortable. So much so, we'd chosen to not to be moved to the room we'd originally booked. It rained our entire stay which is what caused us to arrive late in the first place (that's a whole 'notha story). Anyway, the hotel had a few small trash bins about the lobby catching leaks here and there, but that didn't stop anything. I barely even noticed. Had I not been recording how beautiful the hotel was inside, I would've never noticed. Parking is $30/day, it's NYC what do you expect? 🤭 There's also parking on the street if you can get spot. Careful though, NYC parking signs can cause confusion for those not familiar with the City's play on words. All in all, this was great stay for us and I'd certainly stay again. Oh, I forgot to mention -I did! Yes, I extended our stay another night because the hotel and location was exceptional! p.s. they also offer a seated bar area. Overall: 10/10✨️

This hotel is immaculate and absolutely everybody is above and beyond pleasant. Though not directly affiliated with the hotel, Inexpensive, super clean and very easily accessible parking is a two minute walk away at 25 Kent St. We paid $64 for 2 1/2 days of parking. The room was incredible. Exposed brick walls with super high ceilings, the bathroom had a huge tub and a wonderful shower. Pro tip: if traveling with someone that you do not want to see you naked, understand that it is not a one-way mirror over the bar and you absolutely CAN see into the shower While someone is showering. Luckily I was with my daughter, so this was not a real issue. The restaurant within the hotel and the Ramen place directly next-door are both wonderful. I did not make it to the rooftop bar this time but since I absolutely will stay at this hotel every time I come to visit I will check it out next time! The room was extremely quiet, temperature was easy to control. Now, a little too much honesty, I am an extremely “sensitive” person, and resting and hearing so much from the second I stepped into this hotel. I was never scared, as I definitely don’t typically get scared, but I had numerous very genuine and very obvious things happen while I say that this hotel, such as seeing things walk across the hall in both my room and the hallway, in the main lobby bathroom someone walked into the bathroom and into the stall next to me, but never left, and when I looked, there was no one there,and I was in the shower. I could hear several men talking to each other as if they were right next to me. I was definitely not hearing people from another room. I also heard the door to the stair well open, which is right next to our room and I was right next to the door so when I looked, there was nobody there and I pulled it shut again. Just out of curiosity, as to what was there prior to the hotel, on the way home my daughter looked up the history to the hotel. Let’s just say it was very enlightening as to why i was experiencing so much activity in this hotel, especially on the third floor next to what I will assume would have been a fire escape at some point. It also may explain why the first thing that went through my mind when I opened the front door of the hotel and turned to my daughter and said “I’m surprised the hotel gets away with door opening inward. It goes against fire code. Anyway, You can look up the history yourself and understand all that I have said. :-)  either way, a spectacular hotel at a decent price and a very safe and beautiful part of the city. I will definitely stay here again!

The staff were amazingly pleasant, the hotel was so cool and clean, the room was so modern… I loved the whole thing! My only negative was that the conditioner in the bathroom was empty but if I was staying for more than one night and if I asked for it to be filled, I guarantee they would with no hesitation. Such a great hotel and a quick walk to Barclays Center!

Very friendly and helpful staff. Rooms are decent sized with amenities. The restaurant onsite offers convenient options for food and drinks. Easy access to Grand Central and subway lines. Will stay again!

Be careful about their hidden cost, everyday you need to pay around US$50 for their all access fees(lounge, roof top, gym) which is mandatory! It is not indicated in the booking so I feel cheated that I have to pay for such fees which amount up to US$150 for my 3 nights there. And did I mention you have to carry all your luggages by yourself which I had to push the luggage trolley myself! Amazing location but I will not go there again!

It was seamless, from check-in to check-out. I was able to request for late check-out. Upon check-out I left my luggage so I could still roam around. Got my luggage back safe. Breakfast is okay. Not grand. But I was able to eat everything. I normally couldn’t eat breakfast from cheap priced bookings cause it’s normally bad, but here, I was able to make use of it.

Lokalizacja jest doskonała, w zasięgu spaceru od Central Parku, Times Square i przystanku autobusu turystycznego. Tuż przed hotelem znajduje się również stacja metra. Jeśli podróżujesz samochodem, hotel oferuje usługę taksówki za około 50 dolarów za noc. Okolica hotelu tętni życiem, z mnóstwem restauracji oferujących różnorodne dania, a okolica jest dość bezpieczna. Pokój jest przeciętny; pokój dwuosobowy ma tylko jedno przejście, a dwie walizki o szerokości 26 cm nie mogą być otwarte obok siebie. Ciśnienie wody w prysznicu jest również nieco niskie. Nowy Jork jest stosunkowo drogi, więc ogólnie stosunek ceny do jakości jest akceptowalny.

房間及大堂乾淨衞生，裝修簡潔高雅，書桌上的充電插口有USB/TYPE-C 很方便； 服務人員友好專業； 地理位置優越，步行可達帝國大廈，時代廣場，旁邊一個街區還有紐約公共圖書館和Bryant 公園，離地鐵口各種公交站點也近。 周邊治安情況安全，沒有席地而躺的路人； 店門左邊和對面有好幾家川菜館，適合中國胃；附近也有好幾家麪包店。 總之，因為是22年新裝酒店，即使名氣沒那麼大，但是值得推薦。

Wszystko w Nowym Jorku musi być tolerowane, łącznie z hotelami. Ponieważ był to tydzień konferencji, hotele w całym Nowym Jorku były absurdalnie drogie i miały powolną obsługę. Podczas zameldowania poprosiłem o łóżko king-size, ale kiedy otworzyłem drzwi, okazało się, że są dwa pojedyncze… Po wielu kłopotach dali mi tylko dwa kupony na pięciodniowy pobyt, wystarczające na cztery butelki wody w sklepie spożywczym na dole, a potem nie było już darmowej wody… Tylko hotele w Nowym Jorku odważają się na coś takiego bez obawy przed skargami klientów. Podczas mojego pobytu w Sheraton Times Square metro było niesamowicie powolne, ponieważ Barclays organizował swoją doroczną konferencję; za każdym razem musiałem czekać co najmniej pięć minut. W hotelowej restauracji był mały Starbucks, ale ekspres do kawy często się psuł, przez co nie mogłem zrobić gorącej kawy… Pokój był tak mały, że ledwo mieściły się w nim moje dwie walizki… Ciśnienie wody w kranach było niskie, a przepływ bardzo słaby, co sprawiało, że prysznic był nieprzyjemny. A co do wejścia do hotelu, haha, ruch tam był totalny. Osobiście widziałem, jak pasażer został potrącony przez przejeżdżającego Citibike'a i nie mógł wstać; takie rzeczy zdarzają się codziennie. Jedyną zaletą jest dogodny dojazd; łatwo dostać się na Broadway i Central Park, a stacja metra znajduje się tuż przed hotelem (ale przecież nikt nie chce jechać nowojorskim metrem, prawda...). Co można zrobić? To Nowy Jork...

Ogólnie hotel Gallivant był „ok”. Ich strona internetowa wskazywała, że ​​mają salę fitness. Kiedy tam dotarłem, okazało się, że jest zamknięte z powodu naprawy. Potem wszedłem do swojego pokoju i znalazłem pokój, który nie był klimatyzowany, mimo że powiedziano mi, że ma klimatyzację. Skończyło się na przeniesieniu do innego pokoju, w którym była klimatyzacja. Obecnie instalują klimatyzatory we wszystkich pokojach. Prysznic był najlepszą częścią pokoju! ! Ogólnie obsługa była dobra, pomimo braku sali fitness i konieczności zmiany pokoju. Lokalizacja jest BARDZO dobra, szczególnie jeśli chcesz doświadczyć dużo teatru! Ponadto, pomimo pewnych niedogodności, cena była bardzo rozsądna jak na Nowy Jork w centrum miasta. Może wrócę. Być może za kilka miesięcy sala fitness zostanie ponownie otwarta i wszystkie sale będą klimatyzowane.
