We've just returned from a midweek break from the Priest Bridge cottage with mixed feelings. The location is lovely and quiet, perfect for the Tullymore forest walks, its a good walk into Newcastle though with very steep hills. We were a family of 6 so had 2 cars but there's only parking room for 1 car, the other had to be parked on the narrow road opposite. There is no freezer in the property and we were suprised that there was'nt free wifi. The cottage itself is cozy but it would be cramped with any more than 6, the neighbours are lovely and we got on well with them. Unfortunately a nice well earned break turned a wee bit sour as the owners held back part of our deposit, accusing us of stealing a couple of towels which is a complete lie, we brought our own towels due to covid, its not nice to be called thieves and liars. I would advise anyone staying here to take pictures just to keep themselves right. I felt the need to write this review because i've never been accused of stealing in all my life.
