Bartle Hall Country Hotel

Jay and I chose Bartle Hall as our wedding venue in October 2022 after recently getting engaged. It was just 'us'. We just didn't realise how fast it would come round. We both, and everyone who came had the BEST day, and it just exceeded Jay and I's expectations in every way possible. We knew it would be amazing, but the staff went above and beyond too to help make it the most surreal day (and experience!). Many said it is the best wedding they've been to. The lodge the night before with my Mum, Jay's sister and bridesmaids was so lovely. The food was gorgeous and set us up for the day itself. There was so much of it and it was really homely. Big special thanks to Paul for keep coming over when we needed help- he even sorted us another ironing board and helped us iron the first bridesmaid dress. Also to the gent who helped us put the beds away in the morning. I can't remember his name unfortunately but he was lovely too. We want to say thanks too to Rebecca and Jenny who work so hard behind the scenes, and who always responded promptly and nicely when I was adding more bits/checking over final details. They made it an easy experience communication wise for us. We feel beyond lucky to have had such nice weather too that meant we could be outside a lot of the day. The venue looked stunning and our guests were so impressed. There have been lots of pictures uploaded already of couples in front of the plant wall outside 😍 We also just want to give a special mention to Taylor. She made me feel so calm and at ease all day; helped carry my dress; sorted us drinks; gave us special time just the two of us. She also helped keep my Mum calm! And was on hand all day to make sure our day was so special. We were gutted when she had to go off shift but Ritchie was also fab for our evening. Nothing felt rushed or that we had to do anything at any time, even though there were given times for certain things. The food was exceptional too. We enjoyed a tasting evening a few months prior to our wedding and went for the cod cake, chicken roast and sticky toffee pudding. Lots of people have told us since how amazing it was, especially the roast. It's so bizarre to us that Bartle Hall do weddings most days of the year but to Jay and I, it felt like the place was just there for us. And that's down to the staff. Even at breakfast, we of course knew another wedding was going to be taking place on Saturday but Taylor and the breakfast people didn't seem in a rush for us to leave and check out etc. Simply amazing. A day we will never forget. Would absolutely recommend if you are considering getting married here.

We held our wedding ceremony, breakfast and evening reception at Bartle and my only regret is that it was over too soon! From start to finish, the whole team made choosing this venue the easiest decision we ever made. We really did have the best day and every one of our guests said it was best wedding they’d ever been to; largely because of the Bartle team. The rooms were comfy, the food was outstanding…I could honestly wax lyrical about it! To top it off, it was very reasonably priced which meant we were able to bring our day forward as we didn’t need to save for a decade first! Thanks team Bartle, hope to see you all again soon xx

We have just got back home after our wedding at Bartle hall. This place is amazing and made our day very special. Eye to detail from the staff were amazing. They all couldnt do enough for all of our friends and family. The food, Estate, rooms were all we could have ever wished for. Amazing we will never forget our Wedding day. A few people we need to mention that really made our day special but all the staff are great. Taylor,Rachel,jenny,Rebecca you made our day extra special we can never thank you enough. We had the most perfect wedding day and cannot thank you enough for all you have done, from the moment we first visited up to now. Taylor and Richie looked after us so well all day and night, we cannot sing their praises enough. We had so many compliments about your wonderful venue, from the gorgeous grounds to the stunning decor, amazing food and of course all of the brilliant staff who went above and beyond for us and our guests all day. Thank you again so much. We will definitely be returning for future events with our family to make more wonderful memories at Bartle Hall

We held our wedding at Bartle last weekend and what can I say, it was absolutely AMAZING!! The staff were outstanding from start to finish, they genuinely cared and wanted us to have the best day possible and they achieved that. The service was impeccable and the food was absolutely delicious. Every guest we have spoken to since the wedding has said what a brilliant time they had, a couple of the guests have even called up Bartle Hall direct to give excellent feedback. The coordinators we dealt with leading up to the wedding Rebecca, Jenny and Rachel were so attentive and I knew we were in good hands. On the day Tayla, Louise and Richie couldn't do enough for us. And finally the morning after we had the best breakfast.. I recommend the Breakfast bap... Unreal! Cant recommend Bartle enough. Thanks so much to you all! Vicky & Alan xx

We had our wedding here in February 2024 and had the most amazing day & can't thank you enough, Paul the Master of Ceremonies who was with all day was amazing and nothing was to much trouble & Jenny the wedding planner just brilliant!!. The food was beautiful & all our guests said it was best wedding they had been to. The Lodge the night before for the bridal party was just perfect for us to relax with Jacuzzi Bath and this is just what i needed to chill in before the big day plus the bridal suite the night of wedding was just lovely, we can't fault anything. Thank you so much to all staff that i have not mentioned as you all worked so hard to give us the most perfect day. Wish we could do it all again Thank you so much Mr & Mrs Fiddler

We knew the minute we walked in to Bartle Hall that we were going to get married there. We were greeted like old friends from the moment we stepped through the door and we felt so comfortable. All my (many!) queries were answered along the way.. and everything was so well organised. I remember taking all our wedding prep over the day before the wedding and Jenny literally knew what we wanted to do with it before we said! I’ll never ever forget the attention to detail that was given to our special day. Even down to the bridal procession.. Tayla had it down to a tee, exactly as we’d dreamt of it. A magnificent MC. Each guest commented on how exceptional the wedding was.. it was all we could have wished for and more. Thank you with all our hearts to all the wonderful people at Bartle Hall for making our wedding the best day of our lives

We had our wedding at Bartle hall December 2023, the staff were all so helpful from the very start of the wedding planning process right through to the wedding day!! We couldn’t have hoped for the day to go any more perfect and smooth sailing thanks to everyone at Bartle Hall! Heather ran the day of the wedding and made us all feel nice and relaxed and was so welcoming, also all the team that helped with all the planning were so efficient with emails and answering our questions. We honestly couldn’t recommend Bartle Hall enough and it will always hold a special place in our hearts!!

we have just arrived home from our stay here for the weekend. We were part of a family wedding. We stayed in the ivy cottage it's absolutely beautiful. Its the middle of winter and all the buildings are toasty warm and so comfortable. When we checked in our room was ready. The hot tub was all ready and waiting we just had to remove the lid which was a wonderful treat before the big day. I'm a wheelchair user and the staff are ready with the ramp which is a two minute job to go into the main building. The food is delicious and they do lovely fresh coffee. I would say the biggest asset to this place is the staff. Nothing is too much trouble. They are constantly busying themselves making everything perfect. On the wedding day they took charge of moving guests to whatever room and making sure everything went smoothly. And it did. But they did all this with such a lovely manner. Very welcoming and friendly. I normally wouldn't pay the amount for a hotel room but it was worth every penny and I would definitely stay again regardless of a special occasion. I would highly recommend Bartle Hall it's been amazing thank you.
