Villa Michelangelo

We stayed at villa Michelangelo for 3 nights and it was ideal for our planned trip to Etnaland. With mount Etna as our view pool side we couldn’t fault the service and attention we received. We arrived at lunch and had something pool side which was very tasty. We also ate there one evening and it was delicious. Highly recommend. The poor is busy with some local bookings so if you like to sit in the sun and relax with a book. I recommend that you pre book your spot by the pool. The pool has a lifeguard at all times and he keep a close eye on everyone. The pool Can get very deep in places and you must wear a swim hat (swim shorts ok for men). The local town has just lovely. We were very lucky to arrive on the feast of st Anthony. So that was very special and lovely celebrations on the streets. Our room was great. Our son had a loft above our room. It had to 2 single beds and he loved having a special space. The hotel is busy with local events so this can lead to some music etc around the pool at night. We went to Etnaland over 2 days (Monday and Tuesday) The first time we went to the theme park from 7.30pm until midnight. We had a great evening. Queues were quick and if I was to compare to queues in Disney… they were short! There was loads to keep us all entertained. The following day we went to the aqua park in Etnaland. We had a ball. There were secure lockers for our bag €5 ( you need and ID card to secure). There are also changing rooms at the toilets at the entrance to the park. The slides where great. We bought pool shoes and these are great. You can get them in any supermarket for €3-€4 each. The tiles are hot so you’ll need something on your feet. Great location. Friendly staff. Highly recommend!

The hotel is very nice and good but the woman that was serving the breakfast stopped me from feeding a baby stray cat that was outside the room waiting behind the door outside. Hotel was empty and there was no one having breakfast. Definitely first and last.

We had a great time at this hotel. Food was good too. However, when we arrived, lift was out of order and we had to carry luggages from the stairs. When we were leaving we had to ask to switch on the lift. On one night, I couldn't sleep till after midnight because it was Saturday and music was left till late and was very loud. When in your room, you can hear others talking in the rooms nearby. Maintenance in rooms and furniture is not of high quality but inside and surrounding areas around hotel are beautiful.

Un piccolo angolo di paradiso. Affacciandosi dalla terrazza, una vista mozzafiato ti riporta a vivere nella natura incontaminata. A dx il mare, frontalmente il verde degli alberi e alla sx sua maestà l’Etna. Struttura molto confortevole ed accudita da personale qualificato. Un grande e giustificato complimento al Sig. Federico che, nonostante la sua giovane età, ha saputo dar voce alla sua preparazione di altissimo livello. Un prezioso contributo nella scelta dei vini e dei cibi serviti. Complimenti!

Une soirée ultra bruyante jusqu’à 2h du matin un mercredi alors que nous devions nous lever tôt pour la randonnée guidée de l’Etna ! On nous apprend qu’il y aura une autre soirée le lendemain aussi ?! On est parti plus tôt. Hôtel décrépis et pleins de poussières sous le lit, murs défraîchis… Passez votre chemin !

Se devo affrontare la recensione con formalità dico. Vista panoramica fino al mare, camera quadrupla vista piscina, mangiare super, ambienti raffinati e curati in ogni particolare, mobilio di pregio, pulizia ottima, sala colazioni una chicca, riposo assoluto, vicinanza a Etna, Aci Trezza, Aci Castello, Acireale, Catania, Taormina, Siracusa. Basta formalità.....e allora ci tengo di cuore a ringraziare la signora Angela, Valeria, Federico e tutto il magnifico personale dell'hotel, che hanno fatto sentire tutta la mia famiglia a casa. Già conoscevo l'ospitalità siciliana ma siete stati veramente eccezionali. Stasera siamo rientrati a casa e già ci mancate. E allora se uno torna a casa e già ti manca il posto dove sei stato in vacanza vuol dire che è stata una magnifica vacanza.....e così è stato per noi. Grazie ancora Villa Michelangelo.....sarai la nostra isola felice

Ho scelto questo locale per il mio matrimonio e non avrei potuto fare scelta migliore. Locazion favolosa e piena di spazi sia esterni che interni, cibo abbondante e di alta qualità e personale molto competente.

Wir waren einige Tage dort, es war nachts laut durch die Umgebung, aber wiederum sehr praktisch um zum Etna zu gelangen, wie auch nach Catania oder Taormina. Das Frühstück war guter Durchschnitt, wir haben das Hotelrestaurant nur genutzt um abends noch einen Drink zu haben. Die Umgebung des Hotels ist nicht unbedingt vertrauenserweckend, laut und alles sieht sehr heruntergekommen aus. Ich würde sagen für Aktiv-Urlauber, Wanderer, Radfahrer eine guter Stützpunkt. Für Urlauber die etwas Luxus, Service und Ambiente suchen, absolut nicht geeignet.

Ho avuto il piacere di festeggiare il mio compleanno a Villa Michelangelo e devo dire che è stata un'esperienza eccezionale! Il servizio offerto è stato impeccabile, durante il preventivo ci sono state fornite tante informazioni, tutte poi rispettate e i ragazzi che ci hanno servito sono stati attenti e pronti a soddisfare ogni nostra richiesta. Il buffet proposto molto assortito, ho ricevuto complimenti da tutti gli ospiti.
