Wild planet resort, nestled in the heart of a lush forest, offers an unparalleled retreat surrounded by pure, invigorating air and awe-inspiring views. The misty mountains visible from the balcony create a truly breathtaking panorama, and the strategically placed pool amid-st the mountains adds an extra touch of tranquility and beauty to the setting. The resort's diverse activities, including kayaking, fishing, archery, and football and cricket areas, ensure that every guest finds their perfect adventure. One of the most remarkable aspects of the resort is its deliberate disconnection from the electronic world, with no mobile network available and limited wi-fi access, providing a rare opportunity to truly recharge and reconnect with nature. Pro: 1. Beautiful place
2. Mini trek and rain forest walk was great
3. Food is very good 4. Activities for kids was good cons:
1. Generator hum through out the property breaks the peaceful surrounding
2. Constant sound of jeeps with smoke to ferry guests around the property 3. Room maintenance can be better, bath room lock was not working room lock was very hard to open.

Our stay at wild planet was simply extraordinary! the 5-star facilities, premium food, and exceptional service made it perfect for couples. The candlelight dinner, serene surroundings and attentive staff made it a truly romantic getaway. Highly recommended for an unforgettable escape!

Overall the property location was awesome. Cons for wild planet, from devala to resort(7km) that’s the challenging and breath taking drive, it’s a single road no proper pathway setup for touristers. If you’re excellent in driving give it a drive. Xuvs preferred. Sedan not suits for these type of place. Pros - excellent weather, delicious food options and kid activities too good.

Location: Wild Planet Jungle Resort is located between Wayanad Hills and Mudumalai Tiger Reserve, Nilgiris and is an intimate, secluded, luxurious resort set in the middle of a dense rain forest. The modes of connectivity nearest to the location are Nilambur Road Railway Station (30 Km), Ooty Railway station (68 Km) and Calicut Airport (73 Km). There are a number of nature reserves which are some distance from the hotel, these include Mudumalai National Park (24 Km), New Amarambalam Wildlife Sanctuary (38 Km) and Pykara Lake (48 Km).
Room Amenities: The luxurious rooms are categorized into Hill Top Cottages, Valley View Cabins and Jungle Log Houses. These cottages are atop a hillock in the middle of a tea plantation providing a green blanket on the slopes with the balcony overlooking the surrounding rain forest and the Niligiri mountain range. The rooms are equipped with amenities such as tea/coffee maker, flat-screen TV, coffee tables, chairs, bedside lamps, work desks, seating in the private balconies, cove lighting and attached bathroom with bath amenities.
Hotel Facilities: Wild Planet Jungle Resort offers a wildlife adventure to its guests, with an open-air vehicle available for a guided tour of the surrounding lush green reserve. The guests can catch glimpses of animals in their natural habitat. Some of the animals to look out for are elephants, guars, tigers, spotted deer and wild boars, and birds to check out are mini vets, fairy blue birds and jungle fowls. There is also a natural water body flowing through this 100 acre property. For the safety of the guests, entry to the resort is permitted only till 6 pm because of forest conditions and animal movements.
