Glyngarth Resort

We stayed for one night in Hill view room. Fantastic views from the room. The resort is located in a village called Akoni very near to Ooty town, and location is excellent, very beautiful and serene, services are top notch, staff are very friendly and prompt response. There are lot of activities for kids and adults, they were very good in keeping everyone engaged( one shouldn’t wish Tea plantation walk in morning, can spot a few Bisons too ). From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the mist view and infinity pool ( which is really the highlight and it feels you would be swimming your way to freedom.) The ambiance is incredibly peaceful, making it an ideal retreat from the hustle and bustle of city life. Lastly, food was also delicious, freshly prepared.Thank you so much, we had a wonderful time. Staying at glyngarth ooty was really awesome. The property is so beautiful and scenic. Property well maintained, staff well behaved and friendly. Food was excellent. We would highly recommend it to everyone....................😊😊😊❤️👍👍

The over all stay was too good and we loved the stay here and we are very happy with the stay And the facilities provided in the resort and it was well maintained with cleanliness and hygiene and staff's were too friendly and too polite and they will help you with anything in just a ring and I’m from mysore Karnataka and I didn’t faced any issues and coming to the food I loved the breakfast buffet and one suggestion from me is that better they reduce the price of the food and even quantity for the night and afternoon because it’s heavy for one single person to have and it sounds too much to pay so that’s the only issue I will rate 9.5/10 for the resort and I will suggest to all and a must visit one and one more thing to add better to take local cab rather than their resort cabs because they will charge more compared to local cabs it’s better to hire some other cab near bus stand for pick up and sightseeings it’s my advice because they are charging double the local cabs so better to take local cab but our cab driver was so polite and friendly but they will charge double the fair so it’s a must visit overall

My kid really enjoyed play time with them . From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the stunning views. It was a short break with family. Glyngarth experience was exceptional...mainly due to the staff... Mr Kamal,Mr. Arun,  Mr. Gokul Arun, Mr Abdul Kareem and all the others.. all very nice, polite, helpful and professional. The staff in the restaurant was no different... unfortunately I could not get their names.  The food was fresh, hygienically served and was served with a smile. The room was good,clean and almost as shown in the pics... except it seemed bigger in the pics ;) Clean bathroom, hot water available in the shower and washbasin. The property is well maintained and had mesmerising views...the only drawback we experienced was the approach road...it is a mud road and can be difficult to navigate... except for that, GREAT experience...!!! Thank you Glyngarth staff...  :)

This is the Best property i have visited ever in respect of peace, staff behaviour, views, freedon, fooding. You never feel like away from home. Mr Kamal is helping like a family member. The hospitality provided by this Resort is outstanding. I will suggest everyone to visit this place once in their lifetime for sure.

The property was very good. Mr.Pravin and Kamal made the stay even more comfortable and better. Best stay in Ooty amidst of other resorts, and a should visit a place for staycation.!

This resort is truly beautiful, offering spacious rooms and a stunning infinity pool that enhances the overall vibe. The staff are exceptionally courteous, with special thanks to Mr. Rajesh and Mr. Kamal. They also helped us in arranging a cab on request, and the drivers were professional and friendly. The resort is well-maintained, and the mornings are filled with the delightful sound of birds chirping—we even spotted a peacock, a sloth bear roaming around the tea plantations, and a few bisons grazing on the hill nearby! The fresh air from the balcony and the breathtaking morning views add to the charm. Evenings were equally delightful with clouds and mist covering the tea plantations. Only con: There were quite a few houseflies in the room, which could be better managed. This might be due to the change in weather as the rains arrived just at the time of our visit. On the positive side, the restaurant serves delicious food, with special thanks to Mr. Jagadeesh for his attentiveness. The infinity pool, with its view of the gorgeous Nilgiri Mountains, is one of the best we've encountered. Overlooking the Nilgiri Mountains and tea plantations the room was impeccably maintained and offer mesmerizing views. We bought pure eucalyptus oil prepared locally near to the resort. Very afforadbale price and top quality. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and eagerly look forward to our next visit! Tips: • Wi-fi was available at reception but limited in the rooms depends on the room location and coverage. • Approach road to the resort is not a well laid one, it’s a mud road. Not easy drive during rains.
