A HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT Whilst my wife and I had booked an apartment months in advance and requested a quieter location, we got an apartment beneath one being renovated. For three days (at a time I was unwell and needing to rest) we endured the use jack hammers being used to remove exisiting floor tiles, an assortment of electrical tools used to dismantle existing cupboards and then again to install new ones, along with the continual noise of tradies carrying furniture and appliances up and down the stairwell past our apartment. Whilst we appreciate and understand that all apartments require up keep at some point, management would and should have been across this project and not allocating quests an apartment directly below. To us, it's either very poor planning and or very poor customer care and just a crab for money. Making matters worse was how management were uncontactable and reception was vacant during this period. All office phones were diverted to voice mail, where messages were not returned. Upon our departure, little care was shown with regard to what we had endured with a final comment of " when you return we will try and find you a quieter apartment next time " - NO NEXT TIME for us.
