The Old Posthouse B&B

Tony and Julia made us so welcome. Very clean everywhere, the room and bed were very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious all local produce- great choice of teas and coffees along with home made cake in our room. Would definitely recommend.

This is a First Class B n B! We needed to be near the village to attend the funeral of an old friend and to find 5his little gem right in the heart of the village was a real delight. Tony and Julie are excellent hosts and nothing is too much trouble. The accommodation is first class, clean and comfortable and the breakfast food is locally sourced and wonderful. The village pub is literally a one minute walk with a good range of drinks and also excellent food. If you are looking for a relaxing break in North Lincs we suspect you will not find better.

Birthday trip to Marker Rasen races. Tony and Julia couldnt do enough for you friendly but not overbearing. The place is immaculately clean, full of character and all the little things that often get missed were well catered for. 2 prodigious breakfast were delivered as well. Top notch. Thnks for a terrific stay. Local pub nice as well nd only 2 mins walk.

I spent two nights at the Old Posthouse- more than enough time for me to feel right at home! I was immediately charmed upon arrival- the surrounding village and countryside are some of the most picturesque I have seen, and incredibly peaceful but still with an alive atmosphere and nicely busy pub. This feeling of peace and comfort was only enhanced upon entering the Old Posthouse itself- clean and beautifully presented. The owners were friendly, kind and attentive; they have made sure to add lots of little touches that just made my stay an absolute joy: homemade cakes in the room, saucer of milk and chilled water in the fridge, great quality shower and amenities, lots of available books and pamphlets to ensure a pleasant stay. The breakfast had broad options and was fantastic- where not homemade, locally sourced was the norm for all possible inclusions. The level of choice made it feel very special- there were selections of artisanal coffee, homemade jam (yum) and homemade granola (even yummer); This all before the 'main course'- full english (which was very good), or a wide range of other options such as smoked salmon or haddock or omelettes. Overall, I could not recommend enough if you are in the area. One of my favourite ever overnight stays- I was loath to leave and will certainly be back. Thank you!

Just back from an overnight stay in this fabulous b and b. Hosts were friendly and accommodating room very comfortable and fantastic breakfast. A lot of lovely wee touches including home baking fresh milk chilled water. Home made flat sausages and marmalade. Thank you Tony and Julia

Owners very friendly and offer a excellent range of options at breakfast. Understandably they request guests to remove shoes before entering their rooms, which we found not an issue.

we booked all the three rooms for a wedding 3 couples for 3 nights , we were well looked after from arrival till departure , the breakfast options were excellent and catered for all of us , the place is spotless with the rooms well stocked with teas and coffees and homemade drizzle cake , i would not hesitate to reccomend this B&B , this facility lacks in nothing and goes way above expectations

This is the second time I’ve stayed here and will be the place I look forward to staying again. Very welcoming and friendly and in a quiet area. The room was very clean and comfortable with excellent facilities, including a piece of delicious home made cake.The chilled milk is a lovely touch. The Wi-Fi worked very well. The fresh, well cooked, breakfast is outstanding. Parking on site. Highly recommend.

We were visiting family nearby and The Old Posthouse was a wonderful discovery. Everything was just perfect (apart from my car alarm going off during the night!!). The room was comfortable and had everything that we required. And the breakfast were just superb. Didn’t get to visit the garden, but perfect for a warm summers evening. Tony and Julia are a delightful couple and their friendliness and attention to detail are second to none.
