Tierra Magnifica Boutique Hotel

I hate to give away this hidden gem in Nosara! The property & staff leave no details out… from the simple check in process with a welcome cocktail & a beautiful view, to the vibrant flowers throughout the property, to the owner coming by our table at dinner to address us by name, to the incredible picnic baskets they prepared for our catamaran sail, I could go on and on. Their attention to detail is rare and priceless. And the customer service from the staff (Juan Carlos, in particular) makes you feel like royalty. The rooms are beautiful - views of the jungle & ocean, secluded and quaint. The restaurant serves exceptional food & drinks, and the new Jungle Lounge is a great place to watch American football (if you need your fix). We were skeptical of where we were staying (never haven been here before) with our rather long transfer from the airport, but the property is worth every second of the drive! Once we arrived, the staff took over and we immediately relaxed. It was our favorite spot in Costa Rica so far, and we can’t wait to return. My only advice is to allow yourself to disconnect and truly enjoy the Pura Vida lifestyle at the resort… you won’t regret it!

I highly recommend this beautiful hotel in Nosara! The service is absolutely amazing. Before you even arrive the concierge is in touch to help book tours, arrange transportation, and make any reservations you desire. The food is delicious. There's daily laundry service. The view absolutely amazing! There's also yoga classes each morning. And you're a short tuk-tuk ride away from the beach club.

One of the best experience in Costa Rica ! The welcome set the tone with delicious mocktails and snacks. This is exactly why i love hospitality, special touches such as free laundry, yoga classes in the morning, welcome drink, bespoke concierge service. The staff is attentive and generous. Fantastic boutique hotel with service and food of highest quality. This was our 5th stay and we really enjoy returning. If you search for real quality - this is the place to stay. Nosara is a wonderful seaside place to stay for a calm seaside holiday.

We absolutely loved our stay at Tierra Magnifica. The views were breathtaking, the rooms were comfortable and clean, the food was absolutely incredible, and everyone who worked there was so kind. It was a peaceful, gorgeous place and we hope to be back for another visit soon!

This was our first time and first stop in Costa Rica, and it exceeded our expectations. From our driver, Randall, set up by the hotel to pick us up at the airport to the concierges and staff, we were met with friendliness and helpfulness throughout a stay. The accommodations were superb, complete with monkey sightings right outside our balcony. We also booked a massages, which were the best we've ever had. The food coming out of the in-house restaurant, Huacas, was exceptional from the made-to-order breakfast to the dinner entrees and everything in between. Also, the dog greeters (Loretta and Sanchez) were a delightful treat! Highly recommend if visiting Costa Rica!

There are simply not enough superlatives to describe our visit to this magical place. First, though - if you are lucky enough to plan a trip here, for the love of all things holy, take the puddle jumper from the airport - that drive is a KILLER! LOL...and embrace the Tuk-Tuk. You're welcome. Even before we arrived in Costa Rica, Juan Carlos and his unbelievably patient staff was beyond helpful in helping me arrange our stay and answer a million questions. And after arrival, everything - from our beautiful room, to the glorious food and drink, and the entertainment provided by the resident dogs and the howler monkeys - we loved. I wish I could remember everyone's name who was so kind to us, as any hotel is only as good as the people who run it. Beautiful views, well appointed setting, wonderful food and excellent staff. Started each day with breakfast overlooking the ocean with our hummingbird friend then enjoyed the afternoon breeze at the pool after the morning surf session. A drink before dinner in the Jungle lounge. What’s not to like. Highly recommend.

We had the most wonderful experience at Tierra Magnifica. High above the town with stunning views of the ocean and forest, the hotel and setting were breathtaking. Our room was large, airy and bright, with a very comfortable bed. The complimentary laundry service, excellent yoga sessions and breakfasts were enjoyable daily components of our stay. The spa services were excellent and the food was consistently delicious - to the point that when we did venture out a few times to other restaurants in the area, Tierra Magnifica's cuisine consistently won out. The reciprocal arrangement in town with the Gilded Iguana Beach Club was an added bonus when heading down the the beach. But the best part of the experience was the amazing staff who were always friendly, helpful, good natured. Sad to leave, we definitely would return!
