Olas Verdes Hotel

Private hotel where you are surrounded by wonderful green jungle plants at every turn. The staff at this hotel are so wonderful. The front desk team, restaurant team and grounds team all went out their way to ensure our family of 4 had the trip of a lifetime! Isabelle, Inez and the rest of the front desk team worked hard to book us on multiple excursions even when we changed our mind or wanted to book last minute. Bryan, Jo and the team at El Manglar made sure we were well fed and at the most delicious meals. They took the time to interact with our daughters and were just so pleasant. JP from the grounds team even came running after us on the path to the beach with an extra boogie board one day when we left with one less than we needed The daily laundry service is a huge bonus too we did not think we would use it much but loved it and used it daily! The pool is very well designed and larger than the photos make it. More often than not we were the only ones in the pool, but on the days another family was also out for a swim the set up allows it function like 3 private sections. Book this hotel now! It is on the south side of Guiones which is the quiet side. You will not regret it.

For our 17-person family reunion, we rented 2 guesthouses on the Olas Verdes property: Nacho Casa and Casa Verde. All aspects were outstanding, this place is a great value. The homes were comfortable and well designed. Also, I preferred this arrangement to an AirBnB because we were adjacent to the hotel and could easily use their restaurant and guest services. Highly recommend!

The hotel, service, food, location … all surpassed expectations. I would go back in a minute. Property is beautiful, clean, safe and had everything you need. And, staff will arrange for anything else. We booked through the surf camp on site, Safari Surf — 11/10 stars for them too.

The Hotel and the restaurant are great. Location, location, location. It’s an easy walk to the beach. Safari Surf runs rentals and lessons off the back of the hotel. Everything is close but, a bike or a vehicle makes it easier so you can save your energy for the water.

I really can't think of a way that they could have made the visit better. Truly a top notch facility with spectacular people. Far enough away from the bustle, yet close enough to get there. The town itself has changed a lot over the years, it's busy. Almost too busy. But you can find peace here.

Loved Nosara and this boutique hotel was perfect for us. A few hundred metres from beach - often a troup of howler monkeys can be spotted on the way! Facilities great - loved the fitness/yoga area in the trees and service was fab - loved the restaurant food too - great for vegetarians . Boogie boards available too. Would go back - beach was fab - if you like waves.

Would have rated 5 stars if it was More private. Rooms on the pool area are very close to other people. Resort has great amenities. The free laundry service is amazing . The beach is 200 meters from hotel . The restaurant is great, great location

Second trip to Nosara, first stay at Olas Verde. Words can’t describe how amazing our stay was! Every single feature at this beautiful gem of a hotel is what gives it a 5 star! Free daily breakfast is delicious. Free use of bikes. Free daily laundry done for you. When you first arrive you are greeted with smiles from the staff and handed a yummy smelling cool washcloth. Check in was a breeze. Room was spacious. In the room were 3 aluminum water bottles with our names attached (they have filtered water machine downstairs to fill unlimitedly). Nice sized kitchenette with full size fridge. Coffee supply with condiments. Super comfy beds, lots of towels, including pool towels that were replenished after each daily cleaning of room. Bathroom was nice sized with beautiful shower. All around is beautiful landscaping with two very nice relaxing pool areas, cozy outdoor covered dining area with small bar. Food was fresh and delicious. Easy path directly to beach. Lastly-the staff. I wish I could remember more names but, each and every one were so helpful from the day we booked to the second we checked out. Cannot say enough wonderful things about them! Thank you to all at Olas Verde for such a wonderful experience in Nosara!

Fantastic room so much space great food nicest staff you can imagine. Beach is a two minute or less walk through the tropical rainforest that surrounds the hotel. The town is full of great shops too. Thank you for everything love the magic of nosara and this hotel.
