We booked three nights in this charming little hotel located bang in the middle of Nuremberg old town. The breakfast area is beautifully decorated with medieval design and ornaments. The service is personalised by the staff wearing traditional dress and serving quality cutleries as well as ancient style porcelain tea set. The breakfast served is well-balanced. All the personnel are very helpful and ensure that guests requirements are being catered for. Staff are polyvalent in performing reception and servicing guests breakfast every morning. This is what we call a signature service with character. Special thanks to Ines, who bent backwards every time to attend to our multiple requests.Perfectly located, just one train stop between Lorenzkirche and Weißer Turm stations Surrounded by the main market, food outlets, shopping mall and self-service Rewe. We highly recomnend this hotel for those visiting Nuremberg.

Privat geführtes Hotel in unschlagbarer Lage in der Nürnberger Innenstadt. Sehr saubere, rustikale Zimmer im Flair der 70er mit Teppich, Holz, Kunstblumen im Bad und Starmix Fön. Der Bademantel war leider etwas muffelig. Wer ein modernes Designhotel sucht ist hier falsch. Ich habe gut und bequem im Einzelzimmer geschlafen, wurde allerdings sehr früh vom Duschen im Nachbarzimmer geweckt. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist recht umfangreich, leider nur Filterkaffee. Am zweiten Tag auch gute Auswahl beim Obst. Erstaunlich, dass ein Hotel dieser Größe eine 24-Stunden-Rezeption bietet. Leider kein Aufenthaltsraum, nur ein Sofa im EG aber wir durften netterweise abends noch eine Weile im Frühstücksraum sitzen.

Es gibt Hotels, die man so richtig gerne gut bewertet. Das Hotel Am Josepfsplatz in Nürnberg ist so ein Hotel. Ein zentral gelegenes Hotel in der Altstadt, das auch für eine kleine Verschnaufpause gut zu Fuß zu erreichen ist. Das Hotel ist typisch fränkisch, sehr sauber mit einem Frühstück, das keine Wünsche offenlässt. Es ist ein altes Haus, bei dem man sehen kann, dass immer investiert und gut in Schuss gehalten wurde. Wir wollten ein besonderes Hotel und keines dieser seelenlosen Hotelketten, bei denen man nicht mal weiß, auf welchem Kontinent man sich befindet, weil alle gleich aussehen. Es gibt einen Aufzug, eine Dachterrasse und sogar eine schöne Sauna. Besonders zu erwähnen bleibt noch das sehr freundliche und hilfsbereite Personal. Alle Mitarbeiter arbeiten bereits Jahrzehnte in diesem Hotel. Auch das spricht für die Inhaberin. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und können eine klare Empfehlung geben! Vielen Dank!
