We stayed at the Firs in Jan 2024, it was the last leg of our Sri Lanka trip. We can safely say that it was the best stay we had in Sri Lanka. The location of the hotel is beautiful, nested between trees. Close to the tea estate and the city centre. The food by the chef is the best we've had in Sri Lanka. The staff is very courteous and helpful. There's not much to do in Nuwara but I'd just come there to stay at The Firs

a very elegant place .. nice vintage feel.. Staff is excellent Food was good The location is nice Highly recommended for family bookings It's an exclusive hotel of just 5 rooms.. We shall surely stay here again

The bungalow is located in a very scenic environment, not too far from the town yet away from all the hectic mess. It's a very old bungalow maintained to the very best. Rooms are spacious and really clean so are the bathrooms. The food taste so good and the personalised menu for breakfast is a very generous thing. The staff is really friendly and amazing. The manager Sudharshan is the magic man behind all this wonderful place. Friendly, pleasant and very professional approach makes it very easy to deal with him. A big thumbs up to Sudharshan. We will definitely visit this bungalow soon and sorry for the late review. Good luck and keep up the good work

Me and my husband went to a 7 day vacation to the firs. The place is aesthetically pleasing and has a rustic vibe to it. The hospitality was a 10/10. The staff were helpful and kind and always had a big smile on their face. I would recommend this place to anyone who wants to have a calm and relaxing atmosphere. The manager Sudharshan was especially kind and guided us throughout our journey. The food was amazing many varieties to choose from. My husband loved the Sri Lankan cuisine from there. A big Thank you to the team of the firs! ❤️

It is a beautiful hotel located in a very quiet environment. I guarantee from my pleasant experience that there will be a very friendly group of people who will go beyond a service and provide you with a very friendly service and you will have the opportunity to taste the delicious high quality food and drink. highly recommended best place to visit in Nuwara Eliya. I will definitely stay here in Nuwara Eliya one day when I come. Thank you The Firs and Thank you very much staff. 😍😍

Beautiful place with full of facilities and friendly staff. Beautiful garden and quiet place. It was build up with English architecture. We booked a full board package for our honeymoon and they were treated us with a nice decos and special fruit bucket. Highly recommended this beautiful place to anyone.

Lovely hotel situated high up in nuwura Eliya. Dinner and breakfast was delicious, suite was huge with v comfy king size bed and comfy single, perfect for 3 friends. Nice pool table for chilling after dinner, and super friendly and helpful staff. Great experience and would definitely recommend

Nice place a bit outside of the town in a very quiet neighbourhood.
We had a very nice night playing pool with the staff. Good breakfast and a nice room in an old colonial style building. Overall a bit run down though.
