Majagua Hotel Boutique -Adults Only

We had a wonderful stay at the Majagua hotel in Oaxaca. The hotel is beautiful and centrally located. The breakfast is delicious and served in a beautiful terrace with views to the center. The service is excellent. I would definitely recommend to stay at Majagua.

Very nice boutique hotel, close to everything. Our room was very clean and pristine Breakfast isnt the best, but you dont need to eat breakfast at the hotel as you can enjoy all that oaxaca has to offer as far as food and culinary experiences. Will return

I’ve just returned from a 5-day trip to Oaxaca. I’ve never left a review on TripAdvisor but I was so happy with my stay at Majagua Hotel Boutique, this will be my first. First of all, I want to thank the manager Luis for being so kind and helpful from the day we arrived through to our departure. The room on the ground floor (#5) is beautifully decorated and even has a small patio. The breakfast that was included with our room was delicious. A fruit bowl with yogurt and granola, fresh banana bread, eggs, coffee, and freshly squeezed OJ. There are many other delicious and healthy options available to purchase. Special mention: The overnight jar and the chilaquiles, yum! The location of the hotel is perfect! Only a few blocks from all of the best cafes and restaurants but still in an area that feels quaint and charming. This being our 4th trip, we had already discovered all of our favorite neighborhoods and we were pleased to find Majagua within a short walking distance to all of our favorite spots. The rooftop restaurant and bar has a menu that caters to all diets and they were very happy to substitute to accommodate us. Everyone spoke a little English which was helpful. Everyone who works at the hotel was so kind and helpful, a shout-out to Miguel at the restaurant for his patience and gentle nature. Each night upon our return we would find a little sweet treat and a note welcoming us back. We had a car and they offered valet parking which was important. On our last night, we saw Luis and thanked him for a wonderful stay and mentioned to him that we would be leaving before breakfast. He promised a to-go breakfast would be prepared and waiting for us at 6:30 AM and true to his word, we got a knock on the door to let us know coffee, banana bread, and fruit was waiting for us. I highly recommend this little gem of a hotel!

My stay at Majagua was excellent. The staff were incredibly accommodating and professional, always kind with a smile and happy to help. The food is excellent and the rooms clean and modern. The location is perfect to key neighborhoods around Central, and many bars, restaurants, and local hangouts. It was nice to be close to everything (＜10 min walk anywhere) but still have quiet and safety at night. This is the hotel I would stay in again when coming back. Gracias Majuaga team ＜3

Beautiful boutique hotel with cute rooms and great food. Breakfast was included which was also a plus.Everything about our stay was amazing, the rooms, the beds, the ac and of course the people working here. This place is centrally located to all the great spots in town.

Majagua Hotel Boutique is a stylish and convenient hotel in the historic city center of Oaxaca. It appears to be a new property with a design that mixes history and local culture in a very modern and fashionable interior. Our room, a deluxe king with patio, was roomy and comfortable, although the patio was a bit of a let down (it's shared with another room and small. The bathroom was well appointed with a nice walk-in shower. We particularly appreciated the Nespresso machine in the room. Breakfast was served on a lovely second floor terrace and was excellent. The terrace is also a nice place for an afternoon or evening drink. Service throughout our stay was outstanding. Fatima at the front desk was an absolute delight and took very good care of us, from arranging an early check-in to holding our bags past check-out so we could enjoy a few last hours in the magical city of Oaxaca. It would be hard to beat the combination of location, convenience, and comfort we received for a pretty solid value. Highly recommended!
