Larimar Gallery y Hotel Boutique

First time to Oaxaca and we found an oasis in Centro. The Larimar Gallery/Hotel Boutique is located a short walk to the Zokolo, city center, and near hundreds of restaurants and shops. Walking in to the Larimar is like stepping out of the city and into a calm and artistic resting place. The rooms are unique, some with more amenities than others, and we had the Frida Kahlo suite. A king size bed, spacious room, corner windows, tv, a/c and a large bathtub with an open shower. The Manager, Dulce Mendes, greeted us at the door, gave us a tour of the amenities in our room, and offered assistance as needed. For evening relaxing, there is a rooftop bar where you can bring drinks and snacks and listen to the sounds of Oaxaca. Would we return to the Larimar......absolutely!!! Primera vez en Oaxaca y encontramos un oasis en el Centro. El Larimar Gallery/Hotel Boutique está ubicado a pocos pasos de Zokolo, el centro de la ciudad y cerca de cientos de restaurantes y tiendas. Entrar al Larimar es como salir de la ciudad y entrar en un lugar de descanso tranquilo y artístico. Las habitaciones son únicas, algunas con más comodidades que otras, y tuvimos la suite Frida Kahlo. Una cama king size, habitación espaciosa, ventanas esquineras, televisión, aire acondicionado y una gran bañera con ducha abierta. La gerente, Dulce Mendes, nos recibió en la puerta, nos dio un recorrido por las comodidades de nuestra habitación y nos ofreció asistencia según fuera necesario. Para relajarse por la noche, hay un bar en la azotea donde puede traer bebidas y refrigerios y escuchar los sonidos de Oaxaca. ¿Volveríamos al Larimar... absolutamente!!!
