Room very small black marks on the walls and dirty generally black mould on bed toe nails on the carpet stains all over it sink in the room is dirty along with the kettle the full room is shocking don’t think the carpet has ever been hoovered or the light shades dusted

Some resident/or residents used the toaster just after 7am Saturday morning so this was a bit distressing rushing downstairs then back upstairs to help a family member downstairs ( mobility issues)
Other than the above room was clean reception lady was lovely cleaners were friendly.
Thank you but perhaps a talk to residents about safety while using facilities

If I had taken the time to read some reviews prior to booking I wouldn’t be in this position, hopefully the fact that you are means you can still save yourself. Terrible service, terrible people. Save your money and go wild camping if nothing else is available. Avoid at all costs.

No Services at the guest hous. No parking as indicated in the search filter, we had to switch our car several times from one parking to the other. Free parking nearby only from 6pm to 9am. Breakfast: thrown away money, couldnt find out how to make coffee, no croissants, one day only brown toast. Today the knife and some dishes were dirty, so I went to another place to have breakfast - took only jogurts.

It was a proper scotish hotel , not a churned out copy of every other hotel in the country , the owners v pleasant and helpful , couldnt ask for more 😀

General state of disrepair and not great location on busy through road. No en suite but separate washroom, 1 towel for 2, shower water evacuation blocked and main toilet light didn't work. Luckily small mirror light did. Expensive for the quality you can get for same price elsewhere in Oban and no soul to the place. Poor decoration and lot's of extension leads everywhere in bedroom. Kettle on and you take everything else out, so one real socket.

Friendly welcome at this Guest House. Rooms are very comfortable, neat and clean and beds are comfy. We enjoyed our stay at this Guest House. Good accommodation at a reasonable price. Highly recommended.
