Aparthotel Weinklause Superior

This is the second time we've stayed here. It is perfect as a base for skiing. Plus points are: staff, restaurant, breakfast, sauna, location, Oberstdorf, mountain view ...i.e. everything you could ask for. The building itself is wonderful too - characterful and finished to a very high standard.

What a find this place was ,it was such a comfortable stay staff friendly and helpful and food excellent and breakfast consisted of quality ingredients first time In a hotel ever had ham that didn't taste like leather .loved to see all generations working in the kitchen,grandad would come out with freshly made fried eggs with bacon .our room was traditional in style everything worked and had plenty of lighting to create an ambiance of your liking . The location on first opinion was a little away from the center of town however its perfect for trips to fellhorn ski station as bustop is directly outside hotel so journey is only 10 min duration ..it leaves 10 past the hour .its also 10 mins walk to train station which takes you to memmingen in 1hr10 mins and its 4 euro in a shared taxi to airport or u can wait for bus which is free with 34 euro return train journey .if u can get a cheap flight to this airport its an easy transfer to obersdorf ideal for a long weekend skiing for intermediate and advanced skiers while it doesn't have extensive ski area what is there is varied and challenging with great lift system .we visited during 10pm covid closing time so nightlife was the only disappointment so we'll have to come back next year so they can redeem themselves and will surely stay at this hotel also to note ,wifi was the best signal ive had at any hotel .

Das Hotel im Allgemeinen ist schön gestaltet. Unser Doppelzimmer war recht klein, aber sauber. Der Abschluss im Bad verursacht einen etwas unangenehmen Geruch. Da müsste man nachschauen. Das W-LAN war leider nicht stabil. Das Hotel entspricht einem 3 Sterne Standard. Kein Luxus, aber bodenständig. Das Frühstücksbuffet war gut und reichhaltig. Fazit: Solides drei Sterne Haus mit einfachen Zimmern.

Es befanden sich leider dunkle Haare auf der Bettwäsche bei Ankunft. Ebenso haben wir die ersten Stunden des Abends sehr gefroren, das Zimmer war bei Ankunft sehr kalt. Im Laufe des Abends wurde es dann bei voller Heuzkraft besser. Lage war für uns perfekt. Restaurant und Service waren perfekt. Sehr gutes Restaurant und Frühstück!
