This was a delightful place to stay as it was both clean and decorated to reflect that it is a privately owned condo unit. The lobby and gathering area of the Canterbury were both clean and inviting, as was the hotel grounds. Very refreshing to stay in a place with home like surroundings and seemingly happy staff. Will definitely be back again when we visit the beach.

Stayed at the Canterbury Inn for my Husbands birthday and it was absolutely amazing! Very clean rooms, lobbies, parking, etc. As well as wonderful customer service! Already want to come abck for another stay acter just getting home.

the staff were very friendly and courteous. they informed me that I booked a sleeper, so no kitchenet, so they gave me paper plates, bowls and plastic silverware to help, that was nice. The sleeper, though small, was like a basic hotel room, the other rooms were much nicer, but this one did fine. The spa / hot tub was very relaxing. Wish there were curtains on the windows, the light from the parking lot still came thru the blinds, so not very dark in the room, but tolerable. ok, for the price, was expecting a kitchen but ok. .the pictures on the website were very vague on which pic went with which room. they really need to update their website. The confirmation email is almost enough not to book again, very insistent to follow the RULES or you will be charged!! down to if you are one minute late leaving or a minute early arriving, you will be charged for another day. sad. weird. still ok for the price. I followed the rules, even though the staff did not have the hot tub ready during the scheduled hours. :O)

The property was old but in excellent condition and had been very nicely remodeled. We like the suite type layout with kitchen living room separate from bedroom. 3rd floor view of the ocean was as advertised. Unit was a condo owned by an individual so somewhat like an Airbnb but not as many amenities and helpful touches like you would find in an Airbnb. Many rules and regulations that while I can understand trying to protect the owner they felt overly cumbersome. They hold you responsible for anything that happens as we found out. As we left, a glass lamp just popped and we found it had shattered but none of us were even near it. Someone has to replace it so they charged us for the damage. Some what understand but certainly a heads up if booking at the Canterbury. Many fragile items in the suite. Overall enjoyed the stay.

I liked the fact that they have a major remodel going on meaning the condo owners want to keep their property updated and attractive. Staff was friendly and helpful. I thought we would have a view of the ocean but because the city maintains the green belt that is out of the Canterbury's realm. We enjoyed our stay vey much.

This is where my sister and I come stay when we come to Ocean Shores absolutely love it Canterbury has the greatest staff very friendly and very helpful rooms are great

Concierge was extremely pleasant. Made for a quick and easy check-in. The facility is well kept with more than enough amenities.
Our condo was very nice! Comfy beds great view of the ocean from the 3rd floor. Everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Extra chairs, kitchen items, towels and everything else we wouldnt have thought of.
The price was utterly fantastic considering what we were provided! Would recommend and come back again.
