South Central Apartments

Awesome apar**ent. TV is ready to watch anything; heated floors in the bathroom; super comfy bed; lots of room; convenient to sites and shopping; and they stopped by every day to check on us. The ceramic convection burner was a little touchy and difficult to get just right. Practically perfect!

This is a great family overnight stop after visiting the golden circle. The apar**ent was clean and spacious, as was the bathroom. There were plenty of towels and facecloths and a well equipped little kitchenette. The beds were comfortable and instructions for check in/out and bins were clear. My daughter left a jacket behind and Ragnhildur went to a lot of trouble to get it back to us - getting it as far as Reykjavik so that we did not have to return and take time out of our trip. I would definitely recommend this family run place

The apar**ent was clean and comfortable and it was nice having a little kitchen. The view was very pretty too.

All amenities in the unit. Hostess was responsive to our needs. Comfortable stay. Nearest grocery store about 20 min away.

Serviced apar**ent on convenient route near Golden Circle area. Within 1 hour to major sights including Kerid Crater, Thingvellir, Geysir, and Gullfoss. Nice view of the countryside, but far from any restaurants or stores (20+ min) so plan ahead before you return for the night. Apar**ent itself was recently renovated and felt very new. Kitchen had refrigerator and everything we needed to make our own breakfast. You are texted a code to the door ahead of time which felt a bit sketchy, but very simple upon arrival. Each unit has its own door with a key pad. Towels were replaced during the day. South Central Apar**ents was our favorite accommodation (and largest, only one with fridge) out of several across Southern Iceland (including 2-3 star hotels).

As a family of 4, we decided to book one of the apar**ents located a few km from South Central Apar**ents Hotel and it did not disappoint. It turned to be the perfect stay for our trip around the Golden Circle. We enjoyed it so much, that we ended up extending our stay for another night. The calm environment, the staff, and of course the HOT TUBE made us feel like at home during the windy and dark February afternoons. All in all, a place to recommend and come back to enjoy the northern lights and the Icelandic nature at a very affordable price.

Nice to have a whole small appartement with kitchen! It is a bit far away from shops but if you know that you can anticipate.

This was the perfect location for me. It's off the highway but after spending a whole day exploring Iceland this was right where I needed it to be. It's not close to a gas station that I know of or grocery store but I managed to pick all that up before I left. I walked in and the place smelled like it was nearly renovated or something. It was great! I loved walking out the door in the morning and seeing that view of the mountains.
