Dishonest manager. I checked into my room and after check-in I asked how to get on the wifi. I was told the wifi was down. I told the desk clerk that I needed wifi for my stay as I had work to do and doing so with my phone data would cost a fortune. I told him I would check in with him regarding the wifi in a bit. I went to the room for about 10 minutes, touched nothing, and came back to the desk to ask about the wifi. He had no update, so I asked how long it had been down, he said it had been 7 hours, so i asked to cancel my reservation and a refund. The manager refused, saying I needed to talk to ******* for the refund. I did so, but ******* was told by the manager that I'd been in my room for a couple hours and that I had been informed prior to check-in that the wifi was down. I pleaded with both the desk clerk and the manager to do the right thing and give me a refund, but they refused, continually saying that only ******* could give my money back (which is true, but they should be refunding ******* for my reservation in order for them to pass along those funds to me).
Aside from the above issue, the property was fairly run down and was not a place I would have even considered if I had ever seen it in person before booking online. The room did appear to be fairly clean from my quick glance at it upon arriving.
I would not recommend this property under any circumstance.
