Food is just ok...you have to set up a appoin**ent if you want any better dining....no room service...cant even get coffee...everything closes very early....not the best place for younger couples

the property is not updated but is comfortable and has a nice ocean view. You have several restaurants and the food is good.
I think it is great that even when you flight is later during the day they let you stay and enjoy the premises after you check out.
I expected more of the service as it eas very passive. I think there were too few waiters in the dinning areas.
Overall I recommend it if you want a chill family or couple vacation.

Had a baby in the room next to us who cried all night. Plus the family left all their things outside their room right in front of the door. Stroller, kiddie pool, Sandy beach toys. Unfortunate.

Booked it for the oceanfront room. Bathroom is very small. Pictures are misleading.
Restaurant staff especially in the buffets, was very unhelpful and rude. Specialty restaurants service was a little better.
Water backed up from the toilet into the room. No apology or amends.
E-bike tour under hot sun in 90 degree temperature. My child had a sunstroke and water was only provided when others in the group started complaining to the tour guide.
To top it off- we were locked out of our own room by the front desk. They had a billing discrepancy with Orbitz to whom a full payment had been made. We were forced to pay over $1000 additional for our children’s stay!! Unbelievable! This has never happened in my entire life, staying at many hotels around the world!
Stay away from this resort, and look elsewhere would be my suggestion for your stay in Aruba.

Overall nice, staff could of been a little more helpful, property a little dated, should pay more attention to details and make appropriate repairs. Food was very good. Had a great time and would return.

We loved the atmosphere. The staff were all friendly and kind. It was really easy to book restaurant reservations with the Tamarijn App online. We loved the nightly entertainment by the pool and if not you could enjoy peace and quiet near your room. The food was great and it was nice that you could go in-between the two hotels for food, drinks, entertainment and beach. We will definitely be back.

We loved our room that included a balcony overlooking the beach! Our two young kids loved swimming at our part of the beach, and especially loved pool-hopping at the many pools right near our room. We loved the cocktails and the food! It was easy to get reservations at Ginger and Pure Lime (at the Divi) and these restaurants did not disappoint. All of the staff were friendly, the grounds felt very safe and were clean. We loved everything about his property and would be lucky to return one day!

The visit to the Tamarijin was wonderful. The part of the property that we stayed in was in building 1900. We had requested a ground floor but was initially put on a second floor room. (1906) The room was updated. Clean but not elaborate in anyway. We were then moved to room on the ground level l(1907) This room was not as current as the other and seemed as if it needed to be updated. The building we stayed in was next to a remote, beautiful beach. There was a small pub within a couple hundred yards. Unfortunately, we were there while the walkways were being repaired and at times. I don't think this could be avoided. The buffet was clean. The food was hot. I cant really say it was outstanding but we were able to find something to eat each meal. The restaurants were very difficult to obtain reservations but were able to eat at a couple.
The resort is not elegant. It is not in the middle of an active part of town. If you are looking for an area to stay that is easily accessible to other parts of town and quiet, this is where you want to be. The staff is always friendly. The water is beautiful and the resort is a great place for kids and couples.We intend to go there again next year
