We are choice Hotels Gold program members, but this time reserved through *******. From the front desk at check-in through a sorry check out experience, staff members made it quite clear we were ‘budget’ clients, and supplied hospitality services with what seemed like an INTENT to embarrass us. The most onerous occasion was at check out, when I was delayed 30 minutes after a business meeting, and my wife was told that she had no option but to vacate the room - the front desk made it clear the slightly later check out would have been easily granted had we checked in thru the Choice Hotels site.
Just my opinion, but I think that if choice Hotels intends to degrade individuals who use one of the lower cost services that help you fill your unsold rooms - you should advise customers of that fact - OR cease using such services - and eat the added cost of unsold rooms.
