Abu Hayat Cave Suites

One of the best holidays. The owners were always helpful, organized the ballon flight and the trips. From the first seconds it was like home. Should we go on holiday there again, there is only one dress. Thanks for everything.

We had the lovely pleasure of staying at this gorgeous, clean, family friendly hotel! Aside from the fact that amenities, room, breakfast, cleanliness, location was perfect,, the hotel staff Fa**a and her lovely workers was the by far the best experience we had. They made us feel like family, welcomed us with so much love and addressed all our questions, concerns every single time with a lot care and consideration. We also had a toddler, so naturally our demands were higher than normal because of that, but we felt so accommodated for. I can’t express my gratitude to Fa**a and the staff. Thank you! I can’t wait to come back.

We spent 4 nights at Abu Hayat Cave Suite. Really great and very impressive experience. The double rooms are partly carved out of the tuff, and are large and well furnished. Impeccable cleaning. The bathroom is large with shower and hydromassage. Excellent and plentiful breakfast. Fa**a is the private host who manages this B&B. She is a "special" lady, very thoughtful and kind, attentive to customer needs. The location is strategic to visit all of Cappadocia. Recommended for a romantic trip to Cappadocia Paolo P. and friends from Italy

Absolutely wonderful family and accommodation, it felt like being taken care of by long lost family. Would love to return some day. Breakfast was good, quiet area, comfortable rooms but the real speciality was the hospitality.

Located off a side street of Haci Telgraf Avenue, this unique boutique hotel feels like to grew organically out of the stone hills of Ortahisar. The interior is beautiful and was designed like the cave dwellings that the area is known for, combining both modernity and antique-ike collectibles which decorate both the private rooms and the common areas. The owners are an absolute delight: friendly, knowledgeable and most importantly committed to making their guests' stay as comfortable as possible. The view across the hotel patio is stunning, especially as the sun sets, and if you turn around you can view the edifice that is Ortahisar, a towering rock formation with an observation deck at the top. A short walk up the hill brings you to the main square of the town where there are several dining options. Breakfast is included and it had everything that makes Turkish breakfasts world famous - fresh cheeses, jams, spreads, eggs served to your taste and Turkish tea. Abu Hayat made our first visit wonderful.

The lodging accommodations at Ab-u Hayat Caves is simply incredible. From the time of your arrival and greeting by Fa**a and her entire family and staff, including Ayse, Hatice, Hasan and Besir you feel like you have become a part of their family. Upon arrival by car, they showed us where we could park for free, took our bags and spoke to us like we were long lost relatives. Entering the property is a mind blowing experience. They have converted their home into a space for roughly 7 rooms, each one more impressive then the next. The views of Pigeon Valley were incredible and afforded easy access to walk through it which made for great early (5am) walks. In addition, you could easily see hot air balloons from the terrace or take a short walk into town or other vantage points to see them. The breakfasts at A-bu Hayat were amazing. Fa**a and her team make an incredible assor**ent of foods for breakfast, with different main stays each day. There were all of their home made jams which you could simply eat without bread (Pear, Apricot, Blueberry, Strawberry, etc.), cheeses, fresh fruit, pancakes, eggs, on and on. There is simply nothing left out in the way of design considerations for the rooms or the lodging space. There is no pool here but you don't need one - you should be out and about exploring. I could have easily stayed here for a week just to enjoy the place. Everything was within easy driving distances from this lodging. Furthest point we drove to was in the Green Valley - about 45 minutes away. I wondered into other lodging accommodations both in the area we were in and others throughout Cappadocia - you won't find something nicer then this place with the ambiance and warmth of the owners. STAY HERE!!!!!

This is the kind of place that I really don’t want to tell people about, but at the same time I want to rave about how wonderful it is. The choice of cave hotels is overwhelming, but I somehow stumbled onto this hotel and was so happy I did. They don’t have direct booking on their website, but if you email they will assist you and send videos of the various rooms available. Fa**a and her family have created a beautiful hotel tucked away in the back of the town. Our room was the Sultan Suite, and it was amazing. The workmanship was beautiful, and attention was paid to all the little details. The room was quite spacious with two sitting areas, a king size bed and ample room for a rollaway to be brought in. The only minor issue is that you will need to run the shower for a bit to get hot water, but we were told this when taken to our room the first day. It is easy walking distance to many restaurants and shops. They also have menus available for some of the restaurants for delivery. My daughter took advantage of this one evening as she was not feeling up to coming out with us for dinner. They called the restaurant for her and brought the food directly to the room. The traditional Turkish breakfast is a highlight. All of the food was excellent, and we found out later that they make all of the jams and spreads themselves. Just when you think there would be no more food, another plate would come! We ate so much that most days we did not want to eat lunch. By the time we left, we felt like part of the family. Fa**a was a lovely hostess and was happy to chat about anything, asking us about our days in Cappadocia, how we found the hotel, and just general conversation about life. The other family members were not quite as chatty, but all were friendly and so very helpful. It is clear that this is a family affair and one that they love to do.
