This hotel / farm is in a peaceful setting - tranquil- escapism. The staff are extremely caring not sure on management? But basically it’s not up & ready yet ….the pool was closed( noisy jet washing ) …first morning no hot water … no kettle in room .. seating outside for breakfast was limited & shoddy .Shower flooded bathroom so we got a replacement raffia mat which came with a scorpion! Luckily we spotted it . Beware ordering Poached Egg - we got charged extra 12 euros JUST FOR EGG Fried / boiled/ scrambled is apparently ok - but poached is extra !!!!

A genuine 15th century masseria - that’s a rare find in an era of just reconstructed spaces. A truly enchanting place. Relaxing, peaceful, away from the hustle and bustle. The farm to table cuisine was a real highlight - we actually witnessed the chef harvesting eggplants from the garden and then they appeared on our plates in the most amazing handmade veggie dishes ever tried. Also the organic homemade jams at breakfast were divine. Already feeling nostalgic and wish to come back soon

Truly a magic place. Relaxing, quiet, detached from the world. Organic kitchen.. we definitely witnessed the chef harvesting the greenery in the garden and then we found them as a daily special with a truly unforgettable handmade pasta. Organic handmade marmalades at breakfast were delicious.. We are so nostalgic and wish to come back soon

I’ve spent one week with my wife at Masseria San Paolo Grande and our vacation was simply a paradise! The staff was really impeccable and the chef and his team brought us the best food Puglia can offer. The swimming pool and its natural system was really refreshing bringing the whole experience to another level. We are definitely coming back to Masseria San Paolo Grande for our next vacations!!

La Masseria San Paolo Grande è un sogno ad occhi aperti. Ogni esperienza della masseria è una scoperta inaspettata, dalla location alla cortesia, disponibilità e simpatia di tutto il personale, altamente professionale. Si mangia divinamente, e ogni ingrediente proviene direttamente dal loro orto e dai loro animali. Abbiamo trascorso un momento magico.

Ho avuto la fortuna di tornare in questo posto fantastico a distanza di tempo per trascorrervi la fine del vecchio e L inizio del nuovo anno. Il posto incantevole come lo ricordavo il cibo sublime il personale squisito. Questa volta ho potuto provare anche la camera, noi abbiamo alloggiato nelle nuove camere comode spaziose luminose e confortevoli. La colazione ricchissima con prodotti genuini. Che dire?! Speravo di tornarci per soggiornarci e provare anche le camere ora dovrò tornarci con il caldo per un soggiorno più lungo e per godermi la splendida piscina.

Da un posto dove ti chiedono 80€ una settimana prima solo per confermare la prenotazione ci si aspetta ben altro!!! Cucina pessima con antipasti dozzinali e primi insipidi da cucina di basso livello. Arriviamo in anticipo alle 12 nella struttura per ricevere i primi piatti di antipasti alle 14,45 (!!!) Tre piatti di antipasti con due miserie dentro ed estremamente freddi! … dovevamo ricevere un risotto con tranci di triglie, invece ci viene propinato del pesce spada (o Marlin!) a tranci surgelato e salato! Chiesto spiegazioni al cameriere ci veniva detto che era un dentice (senza avvisare della variazione rispetto al menù!) ma forse non sapendo che noi mangiamo pesce da quando siamo nati e forse lo conosciamo meglio di lui! Insomma… convinti di ricevere uno sconto dopo le nostre lamentele, invece abbiamo pagato 167€ a coppia per un misero antipasto freddo, un primo pessimo, un secondo da non ricordare e una bottiglia di vino al centro! …senza nemmeno averci rilasciato la fattura al momento del pagamento !!! Esperienza da dimenticare, struttura da sconsigliare vivamente

Stati in questa masseria con amici per cena,menù risicato e portate mal presentate e poco invitanti,senza sapore;servizio non all'altezza e poco cortese. Il conto in fine assolutamente non congruo con il servizio offerto,peccato per la location, tanto fumo e niente arrosto.
