Relais Grottone

This B&B was such a find. Located about 5-10 minutes outside Ostuni, it was easy to get in and out of town and use this as a base to see many of the towns in the region. The place is so relaxing and owned by the nicest family. We could not have felt more welcome during our stay. Breakfast is great each morning with a selection of pastries, eggs, and a great plate with fruit and yogurt. When we are back in this area of Italy, we will certainly be staying here. You need gps to find this place but once you are there, you will love it. Highly recommend!

We wanted to visit Ostuni and stay there overnight. Somehow while searching for hotels we found this one. And booked directly with the owner The place is located about 3.5 km from Ostuni. Not so easy to find. And the. Suddenly this oasis arises in front of you Big land. A beautiful pool. A small place for breakfast. Then the house. The center is an old part from stone. According to the owner it was there and is old. Then from both sides attached modern complexes. We got a room in the old part. The room is built in a grotto style small house. Everything was built inside by the owners like a bathroom and electricity. Air conditioning etc. the room is impressive. There’s a small glass window in the floor. With an old urn inside. In the evening we went to ostuni which is impressive by itself. When we returned we went to the pool for a night swim. In the morning breakfast was served in a separate area. Everything is prepared by the owner. All so good and fine. The place is set with curtains. Flowing in the air. Really beautiful. All in all a great to place. Very centrally located for beach during the day. Tourism in the evening. The owner is very helpful, tasteful, and a great cook

An absolute gem! We stayed for 3 nights in one of the two suites and would have extended for 1 more but they were fully booked. +stunning interiors with beautiful decorative details +location: silent place in the middle of the nature +jacuzzi in room +breakfast was amazing! +dogs allowed. Our little toy poodle had so much fun with the owner's little french bulldog puppy +very lovely hosts (a couple who own and run the place) +beautiful pool which we were allowed to use all day on the departure day -no restaurant in the facility, so had to drive to the sureounding towns for lunch/dinner (10-30 min drive) So lucky to have spontaneously found this place.

One of our favourite places we’ve ever stayed. contemporarily stylish, one can sense the effort put into creating this Italian idyll. From the lavender filled gardens, the travertine stonework to the faded chic of the furniture and the perfect temperature pool. The little touches in the room (hairdryer, fresh coffee, conditioner and a cold beer in the fridge) also a new puppy to greet you! To top it all, the place is hosted and served by Brittany Spears and her beautiful husband Lorenzo! Cannot fault it, just book it!

Andrea and her family run this rural retreat just outside Ostuni in the midst of olive groves and farmland. The rooms are all individually decorated to a high standard mixing traditional and modern features. The retreat is set in a beautiful Mediterranean garden and offers a lovely pool with sunbeds and umbrellas. Unfortunately, it is bed and breakfast only, but Andrea is very helpful with ideas for excursions, lunch and dinner. It is a very personal and friendly place. The breakfasts served in the gazebo are great and a perfect way to start the day. We very much enjoyed our stay and would happily return one day.

Kleines familiengeführtes Hotel mit wenigen Appartements. Die Zimmer sind groß dimensioniert und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Zum Frühstücksbereich bzw. zum Pool sind es nur ein paar Meter. Das Frühstück wird jeden Tag von den netten Hotelbesitzern selbst angerichtet und serviert. Es gibt eine Platte mit italienischen Süßigkeiten, eine Wurst- und Käseplatte und einen liebevoll gemachten Teller mit frischem Joghurt mit Früchten und Nüssen. Für alle, die es gerne ruhig haben möchten, ein tolles Hotel. Für uns war es genau das richtige!

Nous sommes ravis de notre séjour au Relais Grottone. Avons été reçus avec beaucoup de simplicité et de gentillesse. Chambre impeccable, petits déjeuners excellents et variés. La décoration est cohérente et faite avec beaucoup de goût. Allez y les yeux fermés.

Al Relais il Grottone si sta semplicemente bene. Atmosfera famigliare, struttura curatissima e la colazione: la più bella e buona. Sì perché oltre alla scelta degli ingredienti di primissima qualità, la cura nell’impiattamento è semplicemente sorprendente. Non fatevi mancare lo yogurt con frutta fresca, mandorle cereali e un tocco di zenzero. La camera è un’armonia di pietra, pizzi e tanti oggetti del passato che rivivono maestosamente. Brave Andrea e Gina!!!
