Lokalizacja była idealna, wyposażenie było na miejscu (pokój sprzątany codziennie rano i uzupełniana lodówka) Śniadanie miało wszystko do zaoferowania (nie będziesz głodny) Personel, szczerze mówiąc, był genialny, Antonio to dżentelmen, który spotykał się z nim codziennie będąc tam, a także Fabrizio. Świetne miejsce na relaksujące wakacje. W odległości spaceru od Otranto. Hotel oferuje świetnie wyglądający basen z wystarczającą liczbą łóżek i parasoli. Pokoje są bardzo czyste z wystarczającą ilością miejsca. Bardzo pomocny personel.
Jeśli warto wspomnieć o małym minusie, to sposób, w jaki hotel został zbudowany z różnymi poziomami i schodami (dostępne są windy).

Naprawdę dobry hotel w stosunkowo niewielkiej odległości od lotniska Brindisi. Pokój był naprawdę ładny, z dobrą łazienką i balkonem z widokiem na basen - wszystko bardzo czyste, a zespół sprzątający codziennie był bardzo przyjazny i skuteczny. Wszyscy pozostali pracownicy byli skuteczni, jeśli nie przesadnie wylewni, a ceny w barze są uczciwe – 4 euro za Peroni i około 6 za kieliszek wina. Basen jest naprawdę sporych rozmiarów i wokół niego znajduje się około 40 łóżek, więc zawsze dostaliśmy jedno, jeśli byliśmy na miejscu. Śniadanie jest odpowiednie i w stylu kontynentalnym - w porządku, ale bez wielkiego efektu zachwytu. Wiem, że nikt nie rezerwuje hotelu ze względu na ogrodników, ale należy im się specjalna wzmianka - tereny są nieskazitelne i pełne ciekawych i pięknych roślin. Spacer na stare miasto zajmuje około 15 minut i jest tam ponad 30 restauracji do wyboru - próbowaliśmy około 10 z nich na lunch lub kolację i nie mieliśmy nic poza pysznym jedzeniem i kilkoma wyśmienitymi białymi lub różowymi winami. W mieście jest ładna plaża, ale za dwa łóżka i cień na cały dzień trzeba zapłacić co najmniej 30 euro. Jest bardzo płytka, co najmniej 25 metrów od plaży, więc powinna być dość przyjazna dzieciom.

All the staff have been excellent “friendly and professional at the same time”. We enjoyed the SPA. I liked the warm pool with a wonderful view of the park. After that, we had a very satisfying dinner. The pistachio’s cheesecake was delicious.

Getting to your room, the swimming pool, the reception or the SPA is a real obstacle course. The rooms are old, dirty, poorly equipped. I feared for my safety several times. The staff speaks very poor English, it's a hotel recommended for Italians and the 4* classification is not justified. Elsewhere in Europe the hotel would hardly have 3*. The breakfast is not acceptable for a hotel of this category. In short, a real disappointment. I do not understand the positive comments on which I relied to book a room.

We have just returned from a ten night stay at the hotel. Overall it was better than I was expecting due to some reviews. We stayed on a bed and breakfast basis and breakfast was basic with more choice of cakes and pastries than cheese and meats. The breakfast staff were not really pleasant at all. Not even a good morning welcome or smile from anyone except the girl who was usually on pastries. All the other staff were lovely and reception helped us when we had problems with trips booked with TUI. They didn’t inform us that they were not in English until we were at the resort! The pool was lovely and beach towels were provided. There was not much variety of food at the pool bar but what they had was nice. I did not like the design of the balconies at all. They are basically just an extension of the room with a large opening instead of a window. It was really like a cell and we didn’t use it at all. We paid extra for a superior room and the balcony and it wasn’t worth it. Not the hotel’s fault - just a design fault I believe. Otranto is beautiful and the hotel is only about 10-15 minutes walk or 10€ taxi ride. The hotel has lost a point for me due to breakfast and the staff and also the horrible balcony. The room and hotel were really very clean.

We had a wonderful time in the Basiliani Hotel in Otranto. The ambiance was very calm, relaxing and very Mediterranean. The staff was always available and friendly even after our visit we stayed in touch. Accommodation was very comfortable and very clean. I would not say it is meant for families per se but we always received special treatment for our child which was very kind. In general the management was very very forthcoming and helpful. They granted us a huge favor because we were originally planing on visiting earlier but due to perdonal reasons and covid of course they accepted our payment even 2 years after it the trip was planned even if they did not have to. I would feel very comfortable to plan a trip to the CDS Hotels anytime again. 5/5
