The room smelled bad. Kind of like a locker room would smell like or maybe like wet carpet. You get used to the smell after time but it's bothersome walking into your room after a long day and your initial reaction is to hold your breath.

Excellent location within walking distance to restaurants, Parliament and museums. Very helpful staff at front desk

Very traditional and classic hotel. We had a very high ceiling large studio, feel very nice and comfortable. Very friendly front desk staff. Great location, walking to many places.

My room smelt so musty i left a day early. The hallways and common spaces have alot of wear and tear.

Excejlence at a price. Classy and comfortable. Great food on site. Certainly not cheap but would recommend it if you fancy treating yourself.

I have tried a number of different hotels in Ottawa but I always come back to this one as it’s stood the test of time when it comes to comfort and quality of service.

The location was great! Convenient for us to visit the Museum of Nature and the Rideau Mall, etc. We stayed on a Friday and a Saturday night. There was partying in other rooms. Had to sleep with airplugs. The shower contained two shower gels and one conditioner, no shampoo. A few minor issues.
