Our stay at Sonder Rideau left us with mixed feelings. On the positive side, the hotel's proximity to historical sites made it convenient for our travel plans. However, the absence of on-site restaurants was a significant downside, especially for those looking for a seamless dining experience.
The cleanliness and overall atmosphere of the hotel didn't meet our expectations. We found ourselves missing the comfort and satisfaction that a well-maintained environment can provide during a trip. It's crucial for prospective guests to consider these aspects when choosing accommodations.
In summary, while Sonder Rideau offers a location ideal for history enthusiasts, the lack of dining options and the subpar cleanliness and atmosphere may leave some travelers wanting more from their stay.

The convenience to tourist attractions and shopping was great. The units and facilities were wonderful. I would definitely stay here again!

Easy parking and self check in. Nice to have a full size kitchen.
Our room was quite cold when we checked in as the windows had been left open. We didn't check in till after 11 pm and it was in the - 20's C outside.
The ventilation fan never went off when set on auto so it was quite noisy at night.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The location was convenient and walkable to the Parliament buildings and the ByWard market. We appreciated having a full kitchen in our room too. The only downside was noise. The door didn’t block out noise from the hallway well. Luckily our neighbours were quiet. The room also came with earplugs, probably for this reason. We will probably stay here again next time we’re in Ottawa though.

Spacious, immaculate suite. Very convenient location. Walked to Byward Market & Rideau Centre. Would definitely stay here or at another Sonder in the future.

Building entry, lobby were very nice. Safe, clean, easy access. The room was large, bed was big and comfortable. Living area was very nice. The kitchen was very small, but had more than I needed. Coffee selection was also great.

The window was open when we arrived, it took 24 hours to get warm! Otherwise, great stay. Kitchen was perfect. Loved having access to extra coffee, creamer, etc. Garage parking was super convenient. Keyless system can't be beat! THX
