Great location and wonderful views of the beach from our bungalow. Some facilities need maintenance while the table tennis table requires repair and no working balls to play it with. The breakfast was limited and not great quality, food quality is not at par and slow service at their restaurants compared to other establishments in the island with superior and very delicious menu options. They did not bring our luggage to our bungalow upon arrival which was odd but picked it up at check-out.

By far the best thing about Paradis d’Ouvea is the beach, which is divine. We stayed across two bungalows, one on the beach and one just back, both were nice, clean and well appointed, but you can’t beat sleeping right on the beach with the sound of the waves. The beach bungalows are also really big which we appreciated for kids and grandparents. There’s no getting around the fact that the main part of the hotel is tired and there’s certainly a feeling of faded glory from a hotel built to the standards of demanding Japanese clients in its heyday. But the staff are very friendly and do their best to get by in English. The food isn’t great but we enjoyed the breakfast buffet. It seems most of the other accommodation on the island is more rustic, so if you’re looking for a proper hotel, the Paradis is your only bet.

Fantastic resort in the beach at Ouvea. The resort buildings are great and allows meals over looking the beach and cocktails on the beach. Food in the resort is top quality and portions are sizeable. Cocktails are great too. Some rooms are wheelchair accessible.

Stayed 3 nights here in June 23. The location photos do not do it justice. Being winter it seemed only about 50% of the rooms were occupied, which meant getting breakfast / lunch / dinner was a breeze. The beach is protected by the reef so the days we were there were picture perfect. Water temp in winter still excellent for swimming. Rooms are fine and out garden bungalow had views to beach, which was about 50 steps away to the water. There is a great pool which we did not use as the beach was our preference. The food was fine ( i see some neg reviews about that), Staff are laid back and friendly.

We really enjoyed our stay here. Amazing location with our room right on the beach. It was perfect and very private and relaxing. The whole hotel is amazing and beautiful. Some staff don't speak English which made it difficult at times - a few requests went unanswered. But overall, this hotel is excellent and highly recommended.

This is the premium resort/hotel on the island (there aren't many to choose from so it's not a high benchmark). It sits on a spectacularly beautiful beach and has large well appointed bungalow style rooms. The staff were friendly and helpful and most speak English as well as French. But mon DIeu, the restaurant. C'est tres terrible. This is my 6th visit to New Caledonia and my partner's fourth. We have travelled the full circuit of Grand Terre, visited Lifou and Ile de Pines, and never have experienced such poor food. This is an expensive resort and we were expecting much better than this. The menu is very limited. The tuna steaks were seared but somehow arrived at the table cold. The rice had obviously been microwaved and wasn't properly heated through. Then desserts.... stale profiteroles in the shape of swans and disgusting attempt at a Bombe Alaska. It was borderline inedible, but given the lack of choice it was eat it or go hungry. My partner chose the latter. We would love to return to Ouvea, but will not now that we have experienced this. We will stay on another island instead. We believe the hotel management know they have a monopoly so simply don't try. The reality is they may have a monopoly on Ouvea, but they also compete with other resorts on the other Loyalty Islands. They need to remember this

The location is fantastic. The bungalows very spacious. The restaurant is not so good but there's no other option. Recommend to improve the menu and opening hrs. The food wasn't always fresh and is too heavy. We brought our own beach toys. Loved the quite atmosphere everywhere.

ウベアは初めての滞在ガーデンビュー→シービューにアップグレードしてくれました（ツインがなかったようです） めっちゃローカルな感じフロントのスタッフさんによってオプションとかの案内内容も違ってました。（気に入るものなかったから違うスタッフさんの時聞いてみるのもアリ） 部屋はとても広く快適です 至るところにハイビスカス飾ってあってテンション上がります。 ホワイトサンドビーチ目の前しかも殆ど人がいない最高に贅沢なバケーションになりました。 食事は凄いイマイチ（特に朝食）オムレツ小麦粉混ぜたようなこんな不味いのは初めて目玉焼きがベスト 夜もそこそこお値段高いのにイマイチデコレーションは素敵やはりハイビスカス飾ってあって写真映えはします。 自転車は一日借りても1台2050パシフィックフランと言ってました夕方試しにムリ橋の向こう迄乗ってみましたがスポーツタイプおしり痛くて長時間は無理翌日使おうと思いましたが止めて車チャーターお願いしました。とても良いドライバーさんで島一周シュノーケリングもできてショッピングもできて大満足です（ステファニーさんフェイスブック交換して次回もお願いしようかと思いました）車チャーターは二人で8400パシフィックフラン（約１万）約４時間連れてってくれたお店で買った現地女性が着ているドレスめっちゃめっちゃ気に入ったので又ステファニーさんに連れてってもらって買いに行きたい位です（ヌメアでは色々見たが良いのかなかった）

On sent un hôtel qui a été construit il y a 20 ans ou +, dans un cadre superbe, avec un potentiel énorme, mais qui manque cruellement de maintenance. Cet hôtel est en gestion privée /publique (Une SEM), ce n'est pas de ma faute des gérants qui font ce qu'ils peuvent. Le personnel également : malgré les chambres franchement vieillissantes et le manque d'entretien global, tout le personnel est aux petits soins et franchement efficace. Et la restauration est vraiment au top. Y compris rapport qualité prix. Bref, un hôtel avec un énorme potentiel, dans un cadre idyllique, avec un personnel compétent et agréable, il ne manque qu'un peu d'investissement pour que cela soit à la hauteur du prix. Merci pour tout
