Blue Lagoon Kosher Hotel (by Capital Coast Resort & Spa)

Niesamowity personel kuchni, recepcja nie tak bardzo

Przyjechaliśmy w grudniu, poza sezonem. Hotel był bardzo niedrogi (315 euro za 3 noce) i niezbyt zatłoczony. Nasz pokój był ogromny - w pełni wyposażona kuchnia ze sprzętem AGD i pralką, stół jadalny, kanapa (niewygodna), niesamowity balkon, ładna sypialnia i dwie pełne łazienki. Koszerne jedzenie było smaczne i obfite. Rano dostaliśmy świeże omlety od szefa kuchni Yaakova i zrobiliśmy kanapki na później. Kolacja kosztowała 35 euro za osobę i była ogromnym bufetem z co najmniej 3 białkami, dodatkami i barem sałatkowym. Była nawet miska owoców oraz pyszne ciasto i pączki (dla Chanuki). Małe przypadkowe skargi - pod prysznicem znajduje się rura, która nagrzewa się, gdy prysznic jest włączony; nie dotykaj tego, bo się poparzysz! Nie uważałem kanapy ani łóżka za szczególnie wygodne, chociaż doceniam dodatkowe poduszki. Żadne z drzwi do łazienki nie mają zamków. Pomimo świątecznego pokazu bożonarodzeniowego zorganizowanego przez hotel Capital Coast (hotel gospodarza), lobby wygląda na bardzo zmęczone. Zabawny bonus: podczas jednej z naszych kolacji w koszernej jadalni pojawiła się grupa interaktywnych tancerzy, którzy zorganizowali zabawny pokaz. Polecam ten hotel! Mam nadzieję, że wkrótce wrócę.

Na pierwszy rzut oka bardzo ładny hotel, ale gdy już tam dotrzemy, to katastrofa. Jeśli uważasz, że możesz grać w tenisa, jak sugerują na stronie hotelu, zapomnij o korcie i wszystkim oprócz konserwacji, siatka jest zepsuta, a trawnik porzucony, jedzenie naprawdę nie jest wspaniałe, w rezultacie musieliśmy zamówić w pokój i żadne śmieci nie zostały wyrzucone, ponadto korytarze wyglądają jak w akademiku, a przyjęcie za każdym razem jest miłe. Eksplodowało okno w naszej łazience, a kiedy wyszliśmy, aby im powiedzieć, usłyszeliśmy tylko krzyki i nie otrzymaliśmy za to żadnej rekompensaty. Osobiście uważam, że taka reakcja hotelu jest niedopuszczalna, biorąc pod uwagę powagę sytuacji. Gdybym miał dać pozytywną ocenę temu hotelowi, byłby to basen, który jest naprawdę duży i kilka atrakcji, jakie oferuje. Krótko mówiąc, jeśli chcesz spędzić wakacje, aby odpocząć i zatroszczyć się o siebie, a nawet spędzić trochę czasu w przyjazny sposób, nie polecam tego hotelu, który na papierze wygląda bardzo dobrze, ale w rzeczywistości tak nie jest.

Przyjazd 9 sierpnia do hotelu z ccvl, jestem w 1 pokoju w piwnicy na końcu niekończącego się ciemnego korytarza pod drogą z 1 ścianą i 1 placem budowy tylko z widokiem. recepcja pozostaje szczelna, reszta mojej grupy jest zakwaterowana w odpowiednich pokojach Menedżer jest nieobecny, przełożony szczeka Mój pokój nawet nie jest dostępny na stronie internetowej hotelu, zdecydowanie odradzam, równie dobrze możesz zostać w swojej piwnicy w Paryż

Amazing stay! We couldn't have asked for more... the rooms spotless and comfy, the food delicious, the entertainment shows were brilliant but honestly the best thing about this hotel is the staff.. incredible service! See you soon olympic lagoon!

The staff were very helpful big shoutout to the chef as I’m gluten free and took me round every night what I couldn’t eat food good capital coast . The trip was quite expensive and would expect a. Better mainted hotel

Hotel room and staff lovely BUT the sub let kosher section in the basement was below average. In 7 days they only once put out cut up fruit. No humus at all til the Israelis arrived 5 days later. The chef / dining room REFUSED to make anything for my daughter who is gluten free. On Shavuot night all she could eat was sliced mozzarella and chips. She’s not super sensitive I explained and it was lucky I took GF bread, cake, pasta, saucepan and sieve. The chef even refused to make plain rice or potato. I would NOT ADVISE anybody with a food intolerance to go here as they are completely unaccommodating and the quality of the rest of the food depends very much on how many people are booked in to stay.

Firstly, it's important to note that there is no actual kosher hotel called Blue Lagoon. Rather, "Blue Lagoon" is a service established within a non-kosher hotel called Capital Coast Resort & Spa. The kosher meals are served in a dedicated dining room, and there is a nearby coffee/tea corner and shul/synagogue (these are all on the basement level). The kitchenettes and utensils in the rooms themselves are not kosher, and all other hotel services (pool, spa, beach, etc.) are shared with the rest of the hotel. The kosher food itself was very good and plentiful, with plenty of variety (we were there for four weekdays and had breakfast and dinner there daily). We were able to make sandwiches (and take vegetables for snacks) each day at breakfast to take with us on our daytrips (tip: bring containers or baggies if you want to do this, none are provided). We did not go hungry during our trip. We were fortunate to have a large suite, which included a full-sized kitchen, full-sized heavy-wood dining room table, living room, bedroom and bathroom. The best part was the porch that faced the sea -- as our corner suite was at the very end of the hallway, we were situated very near to the sea, with perfect views of the sunset and no noise from the pool area (which was out of sight, around the corner). Try to get this suite (#120-1) if you can. The hotel’s beach is not exactly at the hotel – you have to walk a few minutes down the coast on an unfinished rocky dirt path to the beach area, which is also used by the neighboring hotel. We didn’t use the hotel’s pools, but we did use the spa’s jacuzzi and sauna, which were both fine. The downsides were that the building itself and rooms are not in great shape. Google shows this as a 4-star hotel, I would put it at 3 stars. Loose/missing fixtures, peeling paint, stuck window locks, burned-out lightbulbs, and a very dark shower are some details I can mention specifically. As a family-oriented kosher service there were lots of families with children, along with lots of noise/screaming (80% of the guests when we were there are Israeli). The hotel service was relatively okay, but be prepared for the relatively rude Cyprus treatment everywhere you go in the country. The kashrut mashgiach, Levi, was a pleasant and friendly young Israeli man who was helpful during our couple of interactions with him. The bottom line: If you want two solid kosher meals per day and don’t mind spending your vacation in a 3-star hotel full of loud kids, then the Blue Lagoon is a fine choice.

The overall location is amazing and even tho the space next to the hotel is public it was very clean. There is a small sand beach but generally speaking its mostly rocky along the coast.
