Kefalos Damon Hotel Apartments

The hotel itself is clean and well-maintained, especially around premium lodges. I have spent hours explaining to the receptionist that we need one more blanket instead of a cover. The air conditioner was not working; it was resolved in the next 12h. I would not recommend taking meal plans with the room. Over 10 day stay, we were served rotten chicken three days in a raw: over dinner and lunch. The restaurant manager does not have communication skills except for making overall scandal next to all restaurant guests, humiliating 60-year-old women who were all-inclusive. After this incident, my mum and her friend with diabetes and heart issues refused to attend lunches and dinners, and the holiday mood was ruined. (The restaurant manager behaved very abruptly, causing two women emotional shock that ended up taking calming medication to put the pressure down. The reason for this humiliation was two rooms, half and full board, sat around one table, where mum and her friend put their drinks in the middle of the table, as tables were small. The restaurant manager made a whole drama at the restaurant following his assumptions that the number of guests was stressed from the conversation (My mum and her friend received some courtesy from restaurant guests after they left the premises)). Unfortunately, every day, when both ladies came again to the restaurant, the manager continuously pointed his finger at them, making them feel like plebeians among Roman citizens.

We are here at the Damon right now, we have a room over the reception with a road and see view. We have been twice before and nothing much has changed apart from having another pool, lifts and a new independent restaurant (Divine Peak). The food at the hotel is still as good and the drink is good too. We are all inclusive. Pino is his usual happy giggly self. I don't know why there are so many bad reviews, we can not fault this hotel, staff or location.

18th-25th May 2024 This was our 3rd holiday to this hotel and as always we had a fantastic time, the staff were very friendly and helpful food was excellent room was very clean and the entertainment was great especially Pino who is a lovely man

Just spent a week at hotel Damon. What a good week it was, the accommodation was clean & comfortable, the buffet food was plentiful & there was always something this fussy old git could eat. The staff all seemed to go the extra mile & always had a smile for you. This hotel is not the Ritz but the staff make up for it 👍👍👍

This hotel is a wonderful location to stay. This is our second stay here and have already booked again for October. It is definitely great value for moneh. The staff are amazing, they cannot do enough to make your stay amazing. The restaurant staff go above and beyond their job and are a credit to this hotel. The rooms are immaculate and maintained very well. Other guests who were staying at this hotel all talked of how many times they have been back to this hotel, and could not fault it, especially the staff.

Nice hotel but when you leave the room your fridge turns off so your stuff goes warm. I'n regards to the food well it is repetative always chicken and veg, dinner and tea so I've had to order takeaway cos I was really hungry. Not worth paying all invlusive.. I was told they do burgers but that is a lie. Don't go all inclusive as it's not worth it. Also every night the entertainment is bingo which is well boring. Three nights in a row so far. Can't even get decent entertainment. Not worth all inclusive

From checking in to going home, we had an absolute blast at the Damon. Check in was quick, was shown to our room. We booked a studio premium, pool view room, we paid for the upgrade, the room was a good size but the balcony was very small, just enough for a small table and 2 chairs. There was a clothes dryer but was no room on the balcony to use it. Food and restaurant was lovely, very friendly staff, offered drinks upon arrival, food was nice but think some might struggle if fussy due to seasoning/spices/herbs on everything, homemade soups was delicious. Breakfast was the best meal, full English, toast, pastries, cereals, tea, coffee, juice. Snacks was served between 12-1pm and they was huge portions. Pool bar, all local drinks, all served in plastic cups day and night so for that reason we opted to try the local bars as I love cocktails in a proper glass. Pool area clean and relaxing, no fighting for a sun lounger. It was the hotel's 32nd birthday whilst we was there, they had balloons, buffet and cocktails round the pool to celebrate. Pino was the best entertainer we've ever seen, always had time for people, we loved his infectious laugh and humour. Bingo each night for money, plus open the box. Bus stop as stone throw away the 611 takes you to the harbour for 2euros in the day, and 3euros after 9pm. Taxis are quite expensive around £15 and only around 10 mins drive. McDonald's over the road and Kfc near the hotel. We recommend Tea for Two meals and cakes are amazing plus friendly staff. Pitstop pub next door offer bingo every Monday night and have various entertainment, worth a visit. Bens bar down the road offers the best pints of Keo, and very reasonable. There is also a shop onsite selling essentials, clothes, gifts, cigarettes/tobacco, spirits and beers. We met some amazing friends here and it's a very friendly hotel that you will fall in love with.

We wanted a small break and decided to go back to the Damon apar**ents after we visited for our main holiday last year. We again weren’t disappointed, we had requested a room with lift access which we got, we arrived late and were given water and sandwiches on arrival. When we got in our room there was plenty of space with separate living area to the bedroom and we also received a complementary fruit basket and bottle of wine. The food is nice the hotel is clean and the staff are lovely especially Denise behind the bar and Pino who keeps everyone entertained during the day and the night! I can’t recommend the hotel enough and we will be looking to book again!
